|Micheline B. Cleary||Frank Lewis Leavitt Jr.|
Hello Duke, I am researching the Leavitt family for the Island Falls Historical Society. Frank Jr. was born in Crystal, not Monticello, and I have entered a request for edit.
I would like to make a request to use these photos for the historical genealogy on Ancestry.com and for the Historical Society; would this be alright with you?
Thank you and with respect,
Misha, MB Cleary
Winding Hill cemetery.
I just want to thank you immensely for contributing this photo to the site. He is my fourth great grandfather and it has been difficult to track him from Nova Scotia on.

|DakotaRoseZ||Preston Apgar, Parents|
Hi, I sent a message to Wayne Apgar to see if we can determine the correct parents of Preston. Or if there were two Preston Apgars. I created that memorial in 2009 using an old list that I no longer have. I am not sure if his parents and wife's names were on the list or if someone sent me the info to add to it. (Son of Casper Apgar and Sadie Wolverton Husband of Marjorie ADER )
Your info says, The U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007 at ancestry has Preston's parents as Irving Apgar 31710387 and Mary Strunk 31710472. Thank you.

That's why I didn't automatically send a correction. I know you are very thorough with your research and felt there were extenuating circumstances.
|Debra||RE: Sally Low|
Yes, I saw the death certificate. Given the date of death of 1916, it would be what's now called the New Somerville Cemetery, which opened in the 1860's. There are thousands of burials there. Back in the day it was referred to as Somerville Cemetery, hence the wording on the the death certificate. Right now Mrs. Low's memorial is plopped in a 3-plot Find A Grave Cemetery that doesn't exist in real life, which is why I reached out to you in the first place. That just didn't feel right and I wanted to help. Have a good day.

|Diana Murray||Grover Cleveland McCloskey|
I am the granddaughter by marriage of Grover Cleveland McCloskey. He is buried in Evergreen Cemetery in Houlton.
Buried with Grover are TWO wives:
Henrietta Morton (my husband's grandmother through his mother, Carolyn McCloskey buried in Riverside Cemetery in Killington, Vermont))
Louise D. McCloskey (maiden name Donahoe)
She and Grover were married on April 7, 1951 in Houlton. The baby on the headstone is most likely their child.
Louise's parents are Thomas Jefferson Donahue and Nancy Elizabeth (Knox) Donahue Sorrell. She is buried with her second husband, Martin Luther Sorrell.
If you could update the information on the website that would be helpful. Right now, Louise is listed as a daughter and that is incorrect.
