I live in Eastport, Maine, but also add names from the Calais, Maine, Cemetery, Robbinston Ridge and Brewer Cemetary in Robbinston, Maine, Milltown Roman Catholic Cemetery in N.B. and St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
I started by adding my relatives, but now I'm happily addicted to bringing the dead to life on-line.

RE: Edward Turner children
Thank you very much. I think this might be another of Edward and Rachel Turner's children but the dates posted conflict. i wonder if the dates posted here match the ones one the marker? And father is listed as Rev E R Turner. Was R mistaken for H? I don't know, I cant see from here... lol I know Amassa Turner passed at the Maine Insane Hospital he was there due to epilepsy. Levi and Abraham passed in Massachusetts, Levi was cremated. I don't know where he/they were finally placed. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Turner&GSfn=j&GSmn=r&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSst=23&GSob=n&GRid=106580615&df=all&
Thank you again,
t~marie

Thank you I will. My what a daunting bunch. But in all of this I found my ggf uncle..which led me to a dna match for one of the uncle's daughter's who just happened to be the ggm of my dna match.
His father who had married into that family was in Honolulu for 3 months. We had so much fun having lunches. His son even showed up for lunch. I chat on Facebook with the one son who found me. Since they all live in British Columbia it will be easy to get together.
As a side note the 90 yr old father couldn''t believe how I resembled his now deceased wife's Dykeman family.
Im trying to fill in the blanks on Richard's children. And then anothers that 2 Dechman males had been working on. The still carry the Dechman name.
Also the man in Scotland is trying to figure out how we all fit into his large clan.

Susan - William James Donahue is my great grandfather. The memorial lists his middle name as "Joseph". Could you please correct the name? Thank you for all your time and attention to this request.

RE: Warren Stanhope
Hi Susan - we are indeed "cousins" as my line was also thru a daughter of Rodolphus and Susannah - Elizabeth married Stephen Richards (after he was killed in the Civil War, Elizabeth moved the Mass and married Samuel Blood). Their daughter Sarah Richards married Leander Huckins and were the parents of my grandfather. Thanks Susan.

Declined Edits
Punctuation is not permitted in name fields, and neither is guessing at names. You do everyone who uses this site a disservice by guessing. Your memorials are filled with comments like "must be a Smith because buried near other Smiths" or "could this be a Jones" when you have absolutely no confirmation. In one case you have three memorials all attributed to the same person, but with three different grave markers.

The rules state that when you do not know a name or cannot read a name on a marker, you are to use the word Unknown.

Please re-address the recent memorials you declined and make the appropriate corrections. Changes that are not made will be forwarded to management for processing according to Find A Grave guidelines.

Thank you.

Aloha for your wonderful write up. I have just started researching this family as the last name in Nova Scotia was Dechman and even spelled differently by my 3ggf James Dechman in Scotland.
I always wonder if one knows how to read and write why change the spelling so drastically!
And they weren't running from the law either. LOL Keep up the fantastic work.
I may be contacting you later as I keep finding more relatives who appear to have come to this area. Aloha, Susan
