John P Friedling
You created a memorial for this man. I'm wondering if you know anything about him other than what's on his mem pg. I am researching some Friedlings in my line, & wonder if there might be a connection to this man.
Thanks very much for any information you can give,
Kathy Smith

Memorial for Wiiliam Sarlls.

You added a photo to the Memorial for William Sarlis, which is not his headstone. The memorial is:

Could you double check this and see if it was added in mistake. Thanks for your help in keeping these memorials accurate :)

Luther Tibbetts
While I appreciate your enthusiasm, my great-great-grandfather is NOT the Luther Tibbetts associated with the Maine First Cavalry.
In mere moments, I was able to find references to that Luther attending a reunion in 1897, at which time my Luther was long dead.
I am left to either highlight your error to correct your misinformation, or attempt to remove your comment.
In looking at other remarks left to you here, it would appear you would do well to exercise a bit more diligence in having your facts straight. If you believe you have further information about someone memorialized here, it would be wise to click on the "Edit" tab and write to the memorial manager before posting.

curious about Maine Infantry notation
Hello, I notice you left a "14th Regiment, Maine Infantry" notation at the grave of William Allen Cochran (1843-1919), buried in Codyville, Maine. I have found no documentation that he did any military service, nor have I heard it mentioned in the family. Do you have such information? Thank you. Diane C

Yes, Robert, the Cates family is my husband's ancestors. I'm afraid I don't have much information to exchange with you, but would be happy to share what I can.

Picture added to Find A Grave memorial for Tomasita Martinez
Although difficult to read at the angle photo was taken - it appears to say "Petra Reyes" as name of deceased. Perhaps this photo was mixed up when added?

Robert, I think you may have posted the wrong pic on the wrong memorial. You posted a pic of the stone for William Clark on Nancy Clarke Wood memorial. You left no caption remarks as to the relationship, was this your intention?

Charles Polk follow-up
Here's where it gets a little weird in finding Capt. Polk's burial site. The following link to his grave marker says it all...

Later this week I will attempt to locate his grave somewhere around the x-roads that is Brief, NC
