I just joined because I was looking for backgrounds of my mother -in-laws . She is Virginia Eliva Church (Gracia). Her parents were Elliott and Eva trogden Church. All from West Virginia.|
I NO LONGER LIVE IN THE WATERTOWN AREA BUT I LOOK AT LOCAL NEWSPAPERS AND PLAN ON ADDING OBITS TO THIS SITE AS I SEE THEM. IF ANY FAMILY MEMBER WOULD LIKE THESE EDITED PLEASE EMAIL ME.
My husband I live in an RV and travel all over the country radomly. So checking out cemetery's can be a nice hobbie for on the road. As of October 15th 2009 we will be in Killeen Texas for a little bit. Will let everyone know if we move again.
Update as of March 15th 2011 we are living in the Barstow area of California. Not much but sand here but I'm sure we will find something to do,
I guess I will update again. It's now November 2012 and will live in Pahrump NV. Anyone that would like me to look up anything here let me know. Also always looking for new freinds.

The Whiting Cemetery is in Iowa. If you do a search for Jocy Carter you will find two for her, yours and the one at Whiting. That memorial is
#60323250. Thanks, Jeanette

This has been a really long time since you wrote. According to a reading of the Whiting Cemetery which was done in April 2002, by Judith Hutchison, Jocy Carter is buried there. Her dates are 1891 - 1971. Thanks. Jeanette

Thanks Susan. Julie
|JULIE GORDON||Jesse James|
When I joined 23andme it showed that my DNA matched up with being a possible relative of Jesse James.
You posted a gravesite tombstone with James Gordon Lewis and "Indian Outlaw" Debbie Birth 14 Jul 1960.
Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Nolanville, Bell County, Texas
That was quite an unusual engraving! Was there any other tombstones that would have indicated her maiden name?
Thanks for everything you do. We may be related or me and your husband :>}.

You are welcome just glad we found the right place for him.

Thought you would like to know the reason no one can find a headstone for this gentleman is because he is listed in the wrong cemetery. I checked with the funeral home and he is in the
Pleasant Grove Mennonite Cemetery
As of today he is not posted there.

Thank You so much for the transfer of Soloman West, it means so much to have him. I will take good care of him. I envy you getting to RV around the country, high here today was 20. Thank you for all you do for Find A Grave and for preserving our heritage.

Hi, Jocy Irene Carter has a marked stone in the Whiting, Iowa, cemetery. Are you sure she also has a stone in Nebraska? Thanks for checking and thank you for the bio and photo.
