Thank you for posting the information on my maternal grandfather. I was named after him. I am currently investigating my mom's family, of which I have little information. I just now learned that my "Grandmother Billie", who practically raised me as a child, was named William Florence Smith. So I have a long way to go. Your information is greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much,

Thank you for posting the picture of my great aunts' graves. The shared stone is so touching.

Carroll T. Dillard. Believe his mother was Fannie Sommers 1858-1925. Sarah Hale was the first wife of Howard Burton Dillard. They had six children before she died in 1896. He then married Fannie Sommers and they had two children, Collin Aug 1895 and Carroll Aug 1897.
You do a great job on Findagrave!! Thanks for your hard work.

In the event that I have not thanked you, personally, for the transfers that you have provided me with, I wish to do so at this time.
My retirement from all my social and family duties have dwindled down since my health has had the opportunity to allow me to beat my God given expiration date, with the help of family, fantastic physicians and hospital, and the implantation of a pacemaker. Rest is my priority when not doing some physical duties, yet Find A Grave and family ancestry tracing is still fun. To all my Find a Grave friends, you have all been a tremendous help with your contributions to me and especially to this site.
Happy Easter, be safe, have fun and Thank You.

I was wondering if you could help me out ?
I am trying to help a granddaughter find her grandfather. Not biological, but the only one she has ever known. I am not sure the one buried in the Fairview Cemertery,Memphis Tx is the correct one. I do know that he died in Lubbock.Tx and that is where her's lived and died.
The one there was born 10-15-1917 (possibly Okla)
death 03-2-2004 Lubbock. I went through the U S Affairs to get this information. I was hoping you might possibly have an obituary for him. Any assistance you can provide would be much appreciated.
If not, I can understand.
Thank you, in advance
