Grateful thanks to those who have left flowers at my memorials and special thanks to those of you who contribute so greatly to the genealogical community by taking gravestone photos and posting them at this site.|
I started researching my family history in 1997.
The way people lived a few generations ago, and the times they lived in, has always been of enormous interest to me, even as a small child. The most ordinary events of everyday life fascinate me.
Researching family history has given me satisfaction in ways I can neither fathom nor explain.
I only know that I am absolutely looney about these people I've never met. They deserve to be remembered and to have their place in history.
Surnames include BLACK, BROWN, BRUMBLE, CLINTON, COX, COWSERT, FARABEE, FREEMAN, HAMILTON, KIDWELL, LISENBY, McDANIEL, MALONE, MILLS, MORROW, NATION, ROGERS, SOWARD, and STONE
I live in Kern County, California.

Hi Judy, I have been working on photographing the Oakdale Cemetery in Depew, OK. I am currently adding the photos and noticed you did not enter the Date of Death for Robert Jean McDaniel. Would you mind adding the date shown on the Grave Marker. Thanks

I saw that you had left flowers for Virinda Farabee. She was my great-grandmother, my Granny. A sweet and loving woman. I still have wonderful memories of sitting on her lap as she read Heidi and other books to me. She had long grey hair that she braided every day. When I was a little boy she lived with my grandmother Frances Adams (Farabee).

You're quite welcome, Judy. Have a good weekend!
|Jan Miller||Margaret McDaniel Dickson|
You say you are related to Margaret and I am not. Would you like me to transfer management of her memorial over to you? I would be happy to do so if you would like to maintain it.
|Kurt Johnson||RE: Carr Memorials in LaSalle Co., IL|
No, sorry, no relationship. I don't see how Kathleen can be the daughter of John Carr, Jr, when he was born in 1909 and Kathleen was born in 1920. Or, am I misunderstanding something?
|Glenn Lee LaRocque||RE: Photo - Melvin Carr|
Judy, It was my pleasure. All the Best.
|Jerry Huffman||RE: Obit for Melvin Carr|
You are very welcome. Glad to help.
