In memory of my mother ---

A rose once grew where all could see,
sheltered beside a garden wall,
And as the days passed swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall….

One day, a beam of light shone through
a crevice that had opened wide ~
The rose bent gently toward its warmth
then passed beyond to the other side

Now, you who deeply feel its loss,
be comforted ~ the rose blooms there ~
Its beauty even greater now,
nurtured by God's own loving care.

Please note that this infant was a girl. Even though her name is not on the headstone, Her name was Charlotte Helen Deising. This information was passed on to me by her sister. She was born on July 8, 1929 and only lived a short while. She was buried the next day on July 9.

Julia Wilhelmina Dahlberg
Thanks for your research. I have a question about this woman. Every other source has her as Minnie. I understand the Minnie could be for Wilhelmina. How did you find her formal name, if you don't mind my asking?

Hi. Thank you for adding Mary's gravestone and information to www.findagrave. Will you please change her middle initial to E to match the gravestone? Her middle name was Elizabeth. Thank you so much.

Earl Howard
I do believe this Earl Howard is the father of my father, Thomas Wayne Howard. If I am correct, his wife is Marjorie (Bond) Howard.
