FIRST AND FOREMOST, I TAKE MY STEWARDSHIP OF MEMORIAL PAGES SERIOUSLY. IF I AM SENT SUGGESTIONS, VIA THE EDIT TAB, THEY ARE ADDRESSED PROMPTLY AND APPROPRIATELY WITH HONOR AND RESPECT FOR THE DECEASED.|
PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! contact me via the Edit tab on any memorial page that you are addressing me about. You want me to do something for you, please don't make it more difficult. Messages regarding transfers or updates of memorial pages will be deleted without action.
If you have suggestions for any of the memorial pages that I manage, please contact me via the Edit tab on the memorial page. Also, unintentional duplicate pages are a fact of life. If you find a duplicate page, and mine is newer, please let me know and I will remove it.
TRANSFER POLICY - PLEASE READ
I will transfer pages according to the following FAG guidelines, unless I am related myself.
From FAG guidelines: "Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Be sure to explain your relationship in the request! Bulk surname requests should not be made.
Also, the goal is not to "own" every memorial of those to whom you are related. The ultimate goal should be to have meaningful, accurate memorials that honor those who have passed away, regardless of who created the memorial or who maintains it."
IF YOU MEET THE ABOVE GUIDELINES, PLEASE CONTACT ME THROUGH THE EDIT TAB WITH ANY TRANSFER REQUESTS. CLICK THE SUGGEST A CORRECTION LINK TO OPEN A NEW WINDOW, EXPLAIN YOUR RELATIONSHIP TO THE PERSON ON THE PAGE, AND INCLUDE YOUR FAG MEMBER NUMBER. It is easier to follow the link to the memorial page than if I am contacted via my email address or a public message. If you want me to do a favor for you, please don't make it more difficult, as my time is as valuable as yours.
I sometimes have additional photos, beyond what is posted on a memorial page. I am happy to share those photos when requested.
You have my permission to use any of my photos for your own personal records, family specific websites, or your Ancestry.com family tree, but please don't upload them to other cemetery based websites.

|Nora Yahl||Stewart Stones|
Yes, Chuck I found both stones. Thank you again.

I may have not thanked you for adding the photos of my gr-grandfather's stone in Waterloo, Iowa, but I am glad you took the time to do this. Early in my research I had a difficult time finding their stones and after a very long time walking the cemetery and finally giving up and returning to my car, I looked down to the ground as I stepped the curb to my car, I was surprised to see my one foot was very close to my gr.grandmother's stone! An answer to my prayer as I searched without help of a plat or other direction except to know he was buried there.

Thanks for the transfers! I appreciate it and your time to make the memorials!
|Diane Shands||RE: Mary Loatwell|
Thank you. I'm hoping it's the same person.

Quick question- is it easy to get death certificate from this cemetery or obituaries? It's been awhile since I've researched. I live in Texas and the library downtown is kinda helpful. Not sure how Iowa is.
My email is email@example.com Mary A. Loatwell is my 3rd great grandmother but that may be a common surname.
|Diane Shands||RE: Hazel Pablo|
Thank you, Chuck! I'd love that!
Sending blessings and special thoughts for you on Thanksgiving. May you be surrounded with family, warmth and much love!

I never was blessed to hug, hold, or talk with and get to know my grandmother. She was long passed before I was ever born. She was never talked about so I researched about her when I was old enough to purchase my own stamps but when computers came around, it made researching much easier. Thank you for taking a picture of her gravemarker. It's nice to see that it is not broken anymore and standing upright now.
Have a blessed holiday season. Thank you for all you do for all of us.
