Glenn Benner
Spera Transfer
Hello Paul,
I do have more info on Weidner Spera`s civil war service. Some is quite detailed.
Am willing to attempt a bio. if you would like to transfer. It would be great if we could find his descendants.
As for the Iowa Benner`s. There were 6 Benner men who came to America around 1720-40. They settled around Philly. I`m able to take my line to Chester, County, Pa. 1815. There is a separate line that headed to Ohio around 1800. Thinking a few kept going west ???

Hi Paul,

I added all I knew through posts. I only have one Perkins in my posts and that's Susana Perkins in Cole County. When you get your proof you can contact the original posters to have them add info. I only know the info you and I looked up and I've already ask volunteers to post that. Good luck with your Perkin's searches.

Dr. Richard Weddle,
Thank you for the information, I will try to see if I can get in touch with his family and let them know. It's nice to find kind people on Find A Grave that care about family.

RE: Severns photo
Hi Paul.
I photographed all grave stones today & couldn't make out any other Severns.

If you would like copies of the unidentifiable ones...just message me your email address and I'll send them. Hope to go through the list of names on here and add any photos not already uploaded!

Parrack Memorials
Floyd is the son of Ezra and Joann TAPP Parrack. Am not sure of the infant Parrack at the nearby cemetery. If Floyd's wife Elizabeth Rose Parrack is buried at Cedar Lawn as well (unknown at this time, she passed in 2006) then the infant most likely is not theirs as many other of the Parrack children settled in the Council Bluff area and we are still looking for their final resting places.

Thank you for the info and will request a transfer so that I can follow up.

Clark cemetery
Just general access. Walked up Sunday and took pictures and noticed that some where unreadable, and found it interesting that it was undisturbed. Glad that it was. we are with a group WIPCA-Western Iowa Pioneer Cemetery Association, and may want to do a clean up project there this summer. We did a presentation at the Kiwanis in Logan a cple months ago, and a pastor was asking us the name of the cemetery. Was surprised it is in good shape. Needs one or two stones reset but overall good shape. Thanks Alvin. 47244491

RE: Elizabeth Rolfe Lewis
I'm not sure. That was the family stone in the plot she is listed in. I went back today, and I found an Elizabeth with the surname Levers buried in the plot. Could she have remarried?
