I started doing this to find my family....it kinda took off.... If I have a relative of yours,, I will gladly transfer them to you. I do not care about the generation policy, family should be with family.|
Please use any of my pictures in anyway you want, that is what Findagrave is for... I do not want to be a hoarder of graves,,,or need credit for any pictures.
I started working on the 8th Iowa Cavalry Regiment from the Civil War,,,, it seemed so many Veterans were lost in time.

I went back to the cemetery and the side of William's stone has Elin (Alex), William N. and Abraham. Front says husband of Emma. So I truely think these 3 boys are brothers and sons of William & Emma.

#08180258 side of stone shows 3 kids Elim/William/third one I can't read and will have to go back to the cemetery. The front of stone says wife of Emma. So I took it they are their children. I didn't take mother off.

We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
