Charles, Can't thank you enough for recently posting the grave of my 2nd great grandfather, William Jacobs, in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Tamaqua. For many years my uncle who was born in Shenandoah tried without luck to discover William's grave, all we knew was William Jacobs died between 1900 and 1905. Now that we know where he was buried, we hopefully we can get a tombstone photo that may reveal his birth/death dates which are unknown. Turns out his son, William James Jacobs Jr., is buried in the same cemetery! William Sr.'s wife, Mary A. (Hough) Jacobs, may be buried here too. Her death certificate in 1908 only mentions being buried in Shenandoah but without any cemetery name, so likely she is in Tamaqua, too. Thank you!
