|I live in Eastport, Maine, but also add names from the Calais, Maine, Cemetery, Robbinston Ridge and Brewer Cemetary in Robbinston, Maine, Milltown Roman Catholic Cemetery in N.B. and St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.|
I started by adding my relatives, but now I'm happily addicted to bringing the dead to life on-line.

Thanks Susan. Although we try not to, duplicates happen on occasion to everyone.

Just wanted to say hello and say a big thank you for making a findagrave for my 4th Great Grandmother Margarette/Margaret. I come from her son Nathan Augustus Higgins who went up to St. John, NB, CAN, through his son, Nathan A. Higgins JR who came down to Cambridge, MA, through his son Samuel Nathaniel Higgins, through his son Joseph Frederick Higgins, through my Mom :) If you are a Higgins relation, great to connect with you cousin :)

First let me say Thank You!
You've done a great deal of work on
James Thompson (1817-1873) and Jane Hurlburt (1819-1899) Find A Grave Memorial#'s 97201613 & 97201787
I'm working to trace the Descendants of Titus & Sarah (Leonard) Hurlburt and all their Descendants. a project which now spans nearly 25 years of research. Jane Hurlburt (97201787) was their Grand Daughter.
I have a lot of info, and was glad to see how closely our work aligns. If You'd like to share additional info, I do have the two daughters not listed, Laura and Jinny, and some other dates, etc.
Hi, Susan. Just a note. John Towers, husband of Martha Grimmer Thomas Towers, was the son of Loyalist, William Towers. You may email me if you are interested in a little more information @ email@example.com.

I was wondering if you knew the reason none of the pictures of tombstones for any Nash's you posted will not show up when I click on them to see a larger picture? Maybe I am doing something wrong.
|Marian Woodman Flaherty||Florence Woodman 1910-1929|
I'm writing to enquirer about the husband of Florence Woodman. I'm trying to determine her connection to the Woodman family. I have been unable to find any marriage record; only the coincidence of first name and a rough birth year of Florence Stone as indicated by the 1920 US census. I would like to know if she is related to my Woodman family. Do you have any further information?
Thank you kindly,
Marian Woodman Flaherty

Thank you for adding the information on John Noonan and his wife Catherine Noonan to Findagrave.
I believe that John Noonan may have been previously married to a Joanna in the 1850 Census where they had Mary b. 1839, Lawrence b 1842, Bridget b. 1844, John b. 1947 and my (GGGrandmother Margaret b. 1849. His first wife Joanna may had died in child birth.
We then find John married in the 1860 Census to a Catherin who is listed as 30. I know that this is not the same wife as Joanna in the 1850 Census was listed as 34 and would have been 44 if living in the 1860 census.
John s children from his previous marriage are all listed in the 1860 Census and he has two new children Anna/Annie 2, Ellen "Lizzie" 8/12.
In the 1887 Census we find John 57 and Catherine now 42 with only four children in the home Annie 12, Lizzie 10, James Henry 9, and Thomas 7.
Do you know anything about John Noonan's first wife Joanna who I descend from?
I will tell you their daughter Margaret Noonan married William Withington and lived in Canton, MA.
Thank you for imputing all this information on findagrave. I have been searching for my missing Noonan's for years. I do hope that I can find out more about this family.
