Looking forward to discovering treasures of our families here, as well as contributing pictures and memorials from Southern Indiana.|
We were French Lick high school sweethearts and have lived in SW Florida 34 years. We are very active with our grandchildren and now enjoy our great grandchild.
We try to unite distant relatives a little closer before we all end up on here. We also try to donate back to our Springs Valley and Orange County, Indiana area, hopefully leaving a legacy for our families to cherish.
If I have created a memorial you wish and you desire a transfer, please request from the EDIT tab with YOUR Name and Number. Your relationship is helpful in that I'm always interested in folks helping each other out.
Our lives have become enriched with the contacts we've made on FindaGrave, opening so many doors, even getting to meet some folks in person from other states. May all our loved ones rest in peace and have greener pastures.
IF YOU COPY AND USE MY PHOTOS - I respectfully request that you PLEASE GIVE the HECKLER-BAKER FAMILY #47559633 the CREDIT as BEING THE DONORS. So many of our family have come together to graciously contribute these family heirlooms. We thank you.
Leaving one footstep at a time ...
Chiquita & Bobby

|ellen white||The Temple Cemetery Photo Requests|
You have requested photos from The Temple Cemetery for Lillie, Edward, and Arthur Mickler. I do not know if you are aware of this, but The Temple Cemetery is online. Just type into Google: louisville jewish cemetery. The first link will be to meyerfuneral.com. Herman Meyer & Son is the Jewish funeral home in Louisville. This site has all of the Jewish cemeteries. For The Temple, many of the graves are online, and the Mickler graves you want are online. You just click on their name and it will show you a photograph. You can then right click on the photo, click "save as," and it will let you save the photo to your computer. Knowing this, do you still need photos sent to you on findagrave?
Are you related to the Heckler family from Indiana, Fort Wayne area, if so would like to contact you.
|Connie Early||Samuel Rice Earley|
I was looking for the gravesite of Elizabeth Washburn (1767-1849) who was, I believe, was the 1st wife of my 4th great grandfather Samuel Rice Earley. They settled in Armstrong County, PA, but I believe I've seen Cumberland Co. PA in the records as well. One of their sons, Andrew Rice Earley, is my 3rd great grandfather, but the information you've supplied seems too similar to be ignored. In fact, my father's father was also named Samuel Rice Early and he had a son named Samuel Rice as well.
Although the middle name is different and the dates don't quite add up, I am wondering if your Samuel Hendricks Earley is somehow related? Do you know that last name of Elizabeth, when they were in Cumberland Cty. and how/why the family ended up in Indiana?
|Mike Serpa||Thomas Jefferson Underwood|
Here is a link for a photo of Thomas Underwood. I think it is the same person. Let me know what you think.

Wow, you have really been thru the mill, bless your heart. I hope that you are on the mend and not too badly injured. The big news here is we have a great-granddaughter, she just turned 1 year old, her name is Presley Rose. She's the daughter of my 27 year old grandson, Brett. Boy, she is sure a handful, so energetic! I tripped and fell back in July and dislocated my right thumb, it still won't bend, the doc is talking about surgery but I don't think that's a road I want to go down right now. So I keep exercising and hope it will limber up some. My hubby has cancer but is doing pretty good right now, so thank God for that, we all just muddle thru and do the best that we can. My granddaughter got $49,000.00 in scholarship money for college so that is sure exciting! You take care of yourself, I hope your family is getting along fine. I will talk to you again soon, God bless you and yours.
|Steve Cook||Delbert Galloway|

Thanks very much, I will certainly credit you. We are almost certainly (if distantly) related as the person you identify as your great-great-grandmother Martha Stackhouse was sister to my great-grandfather John Allen Stackhouse. Thanks again.
I have transferred George Elmer Dixon, Maude Ellen Underwood, and their daughter Edith to you. Yes I am a relative of the Dixon/Dishon's, but have not linked these to my trees. Sorry this has taken me so long to transfer, this email was not working. If there are any other transfers just ask, I have changed email addresses.
|Tom Hudson||Nancy A Pierce|
I appreciate the work you do. I have been to Paoli and have pix of the gravestone of Nancy A Pierce my GGgrandma. Where did you get the Gromer (her parents) information?
|R Madison||Permission to use photos|
Hi Chiquita - I see your name on many pages of my kin. Just wondered, if I give you a list, if I could use some of your photos on my myheritage.com family tree site. I see here that Martha Isabelle Stackhouse Wilson was your great-great-grandmother. Martha was the sister of my great-grandfather John Allen Stackhouse, and the aunt of my grandmother Grace Allen Stackhouse Pruett. Sincerely,Robyn Pruett Madison
