I want to let you know how much I appreciate you for taking the time to go get this photo of my ancestor's grave marker! Thank you VERY much.
Kind Regards, Michelle.

Your welcome. If you would like the local obits for those two I would glad to look them up for you and email.

I believe you may have placed her in the wrong cemetery. No one has been buried in the old city cemetery since about 1928. Perhaps you mean Riverview since that is the main cemetery in Seymour. I can check local records if you need some research done to find her. There is a Lutheran and a Catholic cemetery in Seymour also.

Thanks so much for the photo of this stone. I see that it is really difficult to read, but I appreciate the fact that it's a close up and there are no shadows on it. Thanks!

Thank you so much for actually having a photo of their marker! They were my Great-Grandparents. I'm just now realizing how woefully little I know about my ancestors, particularly my paternal ones. I have a yearbook from Shelby! The centennial one! Very sweet, interesting, and amusing!

I love New London Friends Cem. So Many of my kin are bur there. Think I will take a drive over there this weekend. Have you been over across the creek to the OLD part. My James and Amelia Haworth are there and others... They found as many stones as they could and lined them up in the middle of the area. Since they found stones all over he place, it was a good thing to do.. I would guess you know all that. I have been there twice and got photo of my James Haworth and a few others. Many years ago.
Nice to meet you here
