John W Roberts
I belong to and didn't find what you did on the other site. I traced John W Roberts back to Katherine Roberts Shaw (his sister) because my mohter's father (Joel Alfred Feitz) started am autpgraph book in 1925. He had famous people and just people he met sign their names. My mohter's mom's (Daisy (Roberts) Feitz) cousin Nellie (Shaw) Joseph signed her name and wrote Daisy's first cousin next to it. So I had a beginning and found out Nellie's mohter's name was Kathryn from the autograph book and found on Archive that her brother lived with them in 1910 in Ohio and his name was Basil Roberts. I knew that John W Roberts (my great grandfather) was from Zanesville, Ohio-it stated that in the newspaper article that I found. The article was difficult to read but it did say that he had brothers and sisters. So I have been searching for John's family (who I figured one sister was named Kathryn and a brother was named Basil. Not having anyone claim John's body when he committed suicide has made it very difficult to trace any family members. My mother always told me that her grandfather, John W Roberts had written a suicide letter but I thought it was long gone until I found it published. That was a big surprise. I will have to work on tracking those names done that you gave me. Was it a family tree that you saw John's parents names and his sibblings? I'll look up census records. Thanks for the help

Basil Roberts 9476611 Charles Roberts 96708365
I see that you are the manager of Charles Roberts grave site and hoping you are a relative. I see his father was Basil Roberts. I'm researching my grandmother on my mothers side of the family and having a difficult time tracing down the family tree. There are a lot of Roberts in the Ohio area as I have discovered. I found a census record where a Basil Roberts lived with his sister's family in 1910. It stated he was the brother-In_Law. Her name was Kathryn (Roberts) Shaw or sometimes spelled Katherine or looks like she went by Kate sometimes. I'm looking for a record of the rest of her Roberts family. My great grandmother married Robert W Roberts who committed suicide in Ohio and it looks like no one claimed his body. He and my great grandmother were separated at the time. As far as the Ohio Historical Society can help me is he was buried in the Franklin County Infirmary Cemetery-which no longer exists. Do you know if Charles Roberts is a relative of them. I saw on "Find A Grave" that he was buried in Zanesville and that is where John Roberts said he was from. I found that information out in a newspaper article where he left a suicide letter to be published in the newspaper.
Any help would be appreciated.
My great grandmohter was Carrie (Stiers) Roberts. She remarried and became Carrie Saunders. My grandmother was Daisy Dean (Roberts) Feitz and my mother was Dorothy Josephine (Feitz) Moser.

Minnie Kuhlemeier
Hi Sara
My great-grandfather's sister Mathilde and her husband Frits Kuhlemeier had a daughter Wilhelmine Marie born October 3, 1864 in Middelfart, Denmark. From 1870, I find no trace of the family in Denmark. Finds out that they obviously have emigrated to the U.S..
Therefore, there is a perfect match.
I have a very long history for the family, as I like to share if you are interested.
Likewise, I am interested in how it went for the family in U.S..

Charles Roberts
Sara, I would be happy to link Shirley to her father, but you have Shirley's memorial and can make the link from there. F-A-G has no provision for linking parents back to children. The link has to be made from child to parent. In any case, I am going to transfer Charles to you as he is evidently your grandfather and you should have him, and his wife Rose as well. Hope this helps you to get all of your family linked up!

Children of Paul Adams
Sarah -

Just curious, how are you related to Paul Adams Jr.? Maybe we can exchange information. Through my research I have listed that Paul Adams Jr and his wife, had 7 children. One of which was, Jacob Adams, a Civil War veteran. Jacob marred Sarah Belle Phillips, and they had 3 daughters.

Amy Peffley Trout
Thanks for your work on this project.
Amy Peffley Trout was my grandmother. I see that John Jacob Peffley was my great-grandfather. Amy died when my father was four years old, from peritonitis caused by kickback when starting a Model T.
Any hints on how to research further back in time than John Jacob?

Hi, I was looking at this memorial, he is my great-grandfather and noticed that the typed date of death is 1929. However, the date on the headstone in the picture is 1959, which is the correct date. Would you mind changing it? Thank you!
