Bio and Links
Bio Photo I really enjoy taking cemetery pictures and looking for my ancestors' graves. It also is fun finding other people's relatives and helping them in their search. I find this a great way to relax as cemeteries tend to be peaceful and quiet!!
I'm happy to transfer ownership of any entries to family members - just ask!!
If you would like to use my pictures for your personal research please do, as I take them for people who are searching for family information but can't get to where the graves are. Please give me credit if you post them to Ancestry or other sites.
If you want to publish the pictures, please contact me.

Minnie Ellis Gay

Thank You!! for the transfer of Minnie Ellis Gay. I have updated her record and added family links. She is a 1st cousin (4x removed) from the Ellis family that I have been researching.

RE: Purves, Jennette
Agnes Baird (great grand aunt) married William Hall Scruton, whose mother was Mary D Purves, daughter of Jenette. So, as you can see, they are not my direct line either. However, there is a direct line for me (Purves) back to Scotland and to St Lawrence County, NY and on to River Falls, WI. So, they are related. Trying to keep thing rounded out and documented so I can fill in the holes.. :)

RE: Purves, Jennette
Thanks lynnz74! Been working on the Jackman, Purves lines for some time... I descend from Margareet Sara Ann Jackman (daughter of elder William Jackman) and have met cousins descended from both Cynthia and William T. If you see anything questionable, or if you want to know why I put something the way that I did... PLEASE let me know. It is more important for me that it be right than for me to be right :) Merry Christmas (or Happy Holidays when applicable..) Deb

I made substantial changes to the page; I hope you approve. I will link to William in NY if I can find his grave in Madrid.

I had conflicting information on her name, but that is what I put in my tree. I am good with adding it to Find A Grave site.

Is this your family, too? just curious. Deb
