I am very interested in genealogy and am glad to help others gather precious family information. I live near El Camino Memorial Park (Sorrento Valley) in San Diego. It is a very large park, so please do provide location and plot information.|
Some of the family names I am researching are Hitchcock, Markley (Merkle), Hebeler, Graves, Roth, Carpenter, Hill,Hadley, and Bereuter/Bereiter.

Hi Bonnie, thanks for the compliment! I need to ask you for a little clarification, though. I'm working on several different Hill Cemetery items, so I need to know which thing you are referring to.
When you ask me to upload a spreadsheet to the Hill Cemetery main site, are you talking about the FindAGrave site? Using the F-A-G format? At the current time, almost all of the graves from Hill Burying Ground (the official name) are on Find A Grave. There are only a few that are not.
There are 3 google docs on the Hatfield Historical Society website that I'm in the process of completing. This will be the most comprehensive historical information, tying vital records to the 1899 inscriptions and the actual cemetery map that I compiled.
I'm a little confused about what you are asking me to do.

feel free to use the pictures in any way you wish. I am glad I could help you research your family tree.
It does look like 1885 in the picture. I couldn't tell when I was right next to it. I tried to even feel with my fingers to see what it said.. I could make out the bottom 11 years old. Here is the cemetery's number 269-695-3971 the guys that work there are very nice and helpful. If you call today they might not be there we had a two bad storms come through last night... don't feel bad I have came across these problem with my own family with dates wrong, no father and mother name to be found lots of dead ends.... (sigh)
