Bio and Links
Bio Photo I primarily cover cemeteries in Hampshire and Franklin Counties, though I have also done extensive work in and around Boston.

My focus is on pre-1800 stones, Revolutionary War veterans and Civil War veterans. I also snap any Dickinsons I come across, since those Dickinsons seem to be really into this.

MY PHOTOGRAPHS MAY NOT BE RE-POSTED OR REPRODUCED ON THIS SITE, ANY OTHER WEBSITE, OR IN ANY OTHER FORM OF MEDIA WITHOUT MY EXPRESS WRITTEN PERMISSION!

PER FIND A GRAVE'S POLICY, PLEASE NOTE THAT "TRANSFER REQUESTS SHOULD BE FOR DIRECT RELATIVES WITHIN FOUR GENERATIONS, THIS WOULD BE YOUR SIBLINGS, PARENTS, GRANDPARENTS AND GREAT-GRANDPARENTS."

I don't mind being contacted with a specific question about one individual, but please don't contact me with open-ended questions about an entire family line. I receive an average of two such emails per week, and since I have a busy work life, I simply do not have the time to type out entire branches of my family tree over and over. Please refer to rootsweb.com and/or ancestry.com which is where I got most if not all of the information. I HAVE NOT POSTED AND WILL NEVER POST MY OWN FAMILY'S PERSONAL TREE ON THE INTERNET, SO THERE IS NO MAGIC LINK TO A MASTER FAMILY TREE THAT I CAN PROVIDE.

Edward Jackson #14229620
Hi, I added a photo of the First Settlers Monument, and highlighted Edward Jackson's name in the description (see caption on image). You might want to rearrange the photos so that his headstone appears first and the monument appears second. All the best! Evey :-)

Samuel moody
I am the great grandson of Samuel moody who was born in 1631, died in 1689 and is burried in the old Hadley cemetery. On a recent visit I was unable to find his grave site or headstone. Do you have information on this or whom I might contact? Thank you for your assistance.

I would like your permission to use the photograph of the Stephen Warner grave in West Street Cemetery, Granby, MA. I would use the photograph in my computer-based genealogy program. If ever the day came when I published, I would certainly give you photographic credit.

Thank you-

Anita Reid

I would like to have permission to post your photo of Nathaniel Gayord's gravestone to my online family trees and to use for my personal photo albums. I would also credit you as the photographer. He was my 7th great grandfather, so it would mean a lot to have a copy of the photograph.

Benjamin Morse - Memorial #97139681
After researching this some more, I think the death date should be April 2, not April 11. I'm relying on this document:
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FHFX-JZQ

It makes sense that they would use Roman numerals throughout the inscription and not switch back and forth. Granted, it's probably difficult to discern the numeral "1" from a capital "I" but I think if you look closely you can see how the characters are capital "I."

Thank you!

Benjamin Morse - Memorial #97139681
I looked at the inscription on the gravestone and tried to figure out the dates since they used Roman numerals. I believe the birth year of 1716 is in error. I believe it should be 1714. Here is how the inscription reads:

"Erected in Memory of Deacon Benjamin Morse
who departed this Life April 11, MDCCLXXVI
in the LXII of his Age"

MDCCLXXVI is 1776
LXII is 62

1776 minus 62 is 1714. I believe the dates March 25, 1714 and April 25, 1776 are correct.

I believe the information regarding parents and spouse are also correct.

Walbridge
I was wanting to ask about the photo you have of Alonzo Walbridge Sr. I was recently in Marseilles, Illinois and re-took photos of his grave and several in the family. His son'e wife, Delilah Mick Walbridge was the elder sister to my great grandmother, Josephine Mick Brodbeck. I'm wondering if you have other photos of their family or information. Anything is helpful!

Parents of Olive Kendall Wilson
Hello, Moo,

I came across your photo of the gravestone of Olive Kendall Wilson (Memorial# 30529029). You have listed her parents as John and Mary Kendall. I have seen records to support Mary as her mother, but I haven't seen any records regarding her father. Can you tell me how you know his name? Do you know anything more about him?

Thanks,
E F
