Bio Photo Still living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where most of my ancestors have lived. My passion for genealogy drives me to help others find their roots. Please feel free to contact me whether family or genealogy searcher.
In 2007 when searching for Kocinski headstones, I decided to document old cemeteries on the South Side of Pittsburgh. Below are the current list of cemeteries I have completely documented.
St. Adalbert's Cemetery on Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, Carrick, Pennsylvania started May 2007 and finished November 2007.
--Maps of my 'descriptive' location within the cemetery is included as one of the photo on St Adalbert's Cemetery main page.
--Deaths after May 2007, may not be listed.
St Josephat's Cemetery on Glass Run Road, Pittsburgh (Baldwin), Pennsylvania started April 2009 and finished May 2009.
--Maps of my 'descriptive' location within the cemetery is included as one of the photo on St Josephat's Cemetery main page.
--Deaths after April 2009 may not be listed.
Loretto Cemetery on Devlin Street, Pittsburgh, South Side, Pennsylvania started in May 2009 and finished August 2009.

Story from contributor Phyllis Seaman-Eckert about her aunt who died at age 2 and burial location:
There are graves down over the hill at the 1st part of the circle. Apparently, many children were buried down there. In fact, we were always able to locate her grave because it was near a rather large above-ground structure for a Spanish or Mexican child.

--Maps of my 'descriptive' location within the cemetery is included as one of the photo on St Josephat's Cemetery main page.
--Deaths after August 2009 may not be listed.
St Peter's Cemetery on Arlington Avenue, Pittsburgh, Mt Oliver, Pennsylvania started in August 2009 and finished September 2009.

--Maps of my 'descriptive' location within the cemetery is included as one of the photo on St Peter's Cemetery main page.
--Deaths after September 2009 may not be listed.
St Michael's Cemetery on 18th Street, Pittsburgh, South Side Pennsylvania started in September 2009 and not finished

duplicates at Old Mill Creek

Your memorials (which are duplicates) and those of the originals (created 5 years earlier) are going to be merged, and the person who created them first will be the caretaker. Creating duplicates is against F.A.G. rules; if you have information to add, the method is to send it to the caretaker of the existing memorial to add. If they refuse, you can contact F.A.G. and they will resolve the situation.

RE: Boyd duplicate memorials
First, contact the other member and ask if he/she wants to be the caretaker since he/she created the first memorial. Mergers are created by sending the number of both memorials to and asking that they be merged into one memorial. Otherwise, yours will be deleted by F.A.G. since the first one created is the one that gets to stay. Duplicates are not allowed.

John Lovy
There is no proof that John Lovy is buried in this cemetery. We have been looking for him and have never found any documentation that states that he is buried here.

Hello again!

There is already a tombstone photo posted. What we have added has pushed it off to the second screen. We just thought it would be a good idea to move it up to the first page.

You took the photo... good job!

I am not sure if the John Lowrie in the Mifflin Cemetery is related to me. Do you know of any identifying information about him or his family ?
It would truly appreciate anything you might be able to share. John seems to be a ghost in our family. His father's (also JOhn) bible lists him as the family's 4th son; he was born in scotland according to this bible and came over to PA with his family in early 1790s.
Sincerely, Jackie Lowrie

My family is coming together really well, much of it because of your advance work, mine could not be done without yours. Transfers really appreciated.
