I am a Harrisburg, Pennsylvania native who would love to help you out with any family history endeavors that you may have. I myself am a doctoral candidate in American Studies so family histories are a topic near and dear to my heart.
I am currently working on adding photographs and entries for all persons in the Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin, PA.
I will be glad to transfer any memorial(s) that belong to your family. I gladly accept correction suggestions so that memorials are as accurate as possible.

Thank you for the photo. Is his tombstone legible? If so, I would really appreciate a close up of his stone showing the information.

Thank you for the headstone photos Wingnut. It's nice to see one that is older and still looks pretty new.

Thank you for your message. Are you related to Shelby? He was my uncle - my mom's brother. I have a lot of Ferguson family history, if you're interested in that. I'm in the process of entering the data into www.wikitree.com which is a free genealogy website. Just do a search for Shelby, and the information should pop up. :-)

Thank you so much for the photo of John's headstone. He was my 4th great uncle. I appreciate those in the findagrave community that are so willing to help. Thanks again...

Thank you for your response! Yes, I was just wondering if maybe her name had been put on the back of the headstone, thank you so much for checking! No, that's ok, but I don't need a copy of the pot or the interment card, but thank you so much for the offer though! I really appreciate it! :) Now I know for sure that she is buried there. I was able to find a copy of her death certificate on Ancestry.com. Also, as I mentioned before I made a memorial for Alice's parents as well as her two sisters who are also buried with them. I added the picture to their memorials as well. Did you see the message that I wrote to you yesterday. with some names of others who are buried in the Harrisburg area? Thank you again for all of your help!

Thank you so much for adding the headstone photo to Alice's memorial. It looks like she is buried with her parents Henry and Elizabeth Stormfeltz. I was just wondering, did you happen to check the back of the headstone to see if maybe Alice's name is there? I created memorials for for Henry and Elizabeth, as well as their two daughters that are buried with them. I hope that's ok with you? I also saved the photo of the headstone, may I use it in my genealogy?
Thanks again!! :)

Thank you for getting back to me and thank you for your offer to help me out, I really do appreciate it very much! There are a few of my grandfather's cousins that are buried in or near the Harrisburg area. His cousin Evelyn May Speelman born December 22nd 1916 died April 1st 1990. Her husband was Harry J Speelman born March 6th 1911 died May 5th 1977. They are both buried at Baldwin Cemetery in Steelton Dauphin County. And I believe their 3 children are buried there as well. Their daughter was Edith Mae Speelman Born March 12th 1938 Died March 10th 2006. (As far as I can tell she was never married) Their older son was Harry Jr. Sadly he was still born, so I'm not sure if he has a marker or not? He was sill born on May 6th 1942. After losing the baby they went on to have another son the next year. They also named him Harry. He was born July 21st 1943 and died November 28th 2005. His nickname was Tucker.
My grandfather's other cousin is buried at Resurrection Cemetery in Harrisburg. His name was Richard M Mohn born April 26th 1922 died December 10th 2004. He is buried with his wife Helen.
At the moment I only manage memorials for Evelyn and Harry Speelman. All of the other ones have memorials, but they are manged by other people.
I hope these few request are OK and not to much trouble for you. I don't want you to have to go to far out of your way.
Thank you so much for your time and help! I am also disabled and do not drive. I rally enjoy working on my family genealogy. I hope you were able to find the cord for your camera :) I know how it is when those things get misplaced! It's so frustrating! :)
