RE: Nehemiah Marks
You're most welcome Carolyn - I' m glad I was able to help - the restoration of the Loyalist Burial Park is lovely - I couldn't find headstones for the Marks family - most of the markers are unreadable & have been moved to a flower memorial - see the photos on the main page of the cemetery. It's a beautiful, serene place with lots of greenery & bright flowers.

ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

Asaan Marks, Conn
Marjorie, I saw you left a flower on the memorial #33327194, for Asaan Marks. I'm wondering if you have any more information about her? Is this the correct spelling of her name?
David Marks, her bro. born 1805, in relating his father/mother's family, stated they had a "10-month baby daughter who was born and died before he was born. Since the death shows "1803" that fits, and plus this family was in the area. I found info re Jeremiah's death and have it posted to his memorial. I'm now looking for his brother, "Friend Marks."

Thanks for any reply. winnie #46555353
