Joe: Just wanted to let you know that I've finally completed Bethel Cemetery. . .whew! I ended up adding more than 200 records, which I hope will be a help to those looking for relatives there. Wanted to thank you for all your hard work AND your prompt reply to all my edits. I hope I didn't drive you too crazy! Thanks again, Patty Shreve

Yes, Blanche was my grandfather's second wife. His 3rd wife was Murfee Lee Hill Aikens but I don't know where she is buried. I believe you have also supplied photos for my grandmother Julia Timm Aikens, my parents and sister. Thank you many times over!!! There is a request in for a photo of my great grandmother Ella Loring Aikens. There may be more Aikens at Westview that I don't know about, large family. My grandfather was one of ten children. Have a wonderful day!
Thank you so much for the photo of my grandfather's grave. Appreciate your work. The only name of yours that I see in common is Veal. One of my great grandmothers was a Veal married Boyer in Hancock County GA.

Bethel Cemetery: You're most welcome Joe. I recently visited Kentucky and made a trip to Bethel Cemetery and took photographs of all the headstones. It was a glorious sunny morning! I've been loading photographs of some of the same headstones that you'd taken photos of - only because it was nice and sunny. If you'd rather I didn't load duplicates, just let me know. . . and thanks again. I love it when we find those elusive long-lost relatives!

Indeed -- I never knew about this branch of the family until recently - a sad and tragic story.
ALSO - I notice you have interest in Putnam County, GA. My JONES brick wall is in Putnam County, GA in 1850 with a widowed Ann Jones and 4 children -- no idea who the Jones husband may be or anything about her family.
Ann and the kids moved to Harris Co. GA in 1857 - and the kids eventually married into several other families who had settled in Harris Co. via Putnam Co. -- the Autrys and Slaughters. I also know the Farleys made a similar trek and ANN JONES was actually deeded her initial 100 acres of land in Harris by am ARTHUR FARLEY but we have been unable to determine if there was a relation.
