10-7 for at least two weeks.
I will be back by the end of the month.
All photos are for the members to use as they see fit.
MEMORIALS: I am in the process of transferring all of my Georgia Memorials to FindAGrave for them to manage.
All memorials have been put on for those that are relatives or friends of the deceased. We do not have any family buried here in Georgia.
IN Tenn. W. V. and Conn. have many memorials put on that are not members of our family. When looking for information by walking cemeteries or looking thru data we would gather extra info and we did not just want to throw it away.
IN SOME OTHER STATES.
While traveling we would sometimes stop at cemeteries and just walk and photograph interesting headstones. These too are meant for family or friends.

|Gerry Hill||RE: By the way|
I am a 37 year genealogist- I just thought Ga, or more interesting to me South Ga- but I did not have any surnames in mind. If you would need to do research- it was not a biggie. My family came through Greene Co Ga for the most part- and to Harris, Crawford, Macon, Marion, Talbot, Taylor, on down to Randolph, Terrell, Mitchell-direct kin. So I am very familiar with those, but have done a lot pf professional work in others. Some family from Columbia, Richmond area..to Meriwether (and even Fl) But I was not being picky. I just felt a person would care more and get the changes made faster than admin. I have Abercrombie, Armor, Aven,Aycock, Breedlove,Brown,Cannon,Carter,Causey, Cheshire,Hamilton,Hooks,McMichael, Pridgeon, Raines, Roberts,Scarborough,Underwood to give you my first 5 generation-but as said, I was not looking for family- I think we get down to 35, that's low enough! Good luck with yours. I just remembered my peppers and tomatoes- covered them once for a few days. I am not going out tonight and do it!

I too just got back-right next door. We got to St Simons Island Friday afternoon and got home about dark last night-after rambling through new sections of Ga I had never seen-and some I had.
We went to be with a Calif. band who was doing the benifit for hospice-with my genealogy friend from Calif. who is their friend. She ask me last year, but between my Walker and wheelchair and her having throat cancer, we waited for this year. I enjoyed it. The benefit Sunday was in a park next door to Epworth by the Sea, and we went to the Wesley Chappel and graveyard and the Midway graveyard the day before-so I gave my new leg a real workout, and we (me and the leg) did great! My friend retired from the Bd of Ed-as I did-and now has a book shop=her dream of what a job should be! She calls it The Scarlet Letter. We are going to Macon to the library there tomorrow, and she is hearing Jimmy Carter at his Sunday School class Sunday-and I think coming to the same Rose Show in T'ville that I will attend Sat. with other friends from Cleveland. Then I will sit and do nothing for a week or so, I am sure!

If you have any from Zion, Rose Hill, Walnut Fork, Barrow Memorial, Center, Woodbine,Jjackson Memorial Park, Galilee (my church) and other areas close I would welcome them too. It makes it so convenient to connect relatives. Especially any veterans but guess that would be hard to single those out from all the rest. Thanks, Patsy
