If you would like to take over management of one of the memorials, (and are related to the individual), I have entered, please use the "Edit" feature on the memorial page. This will alleviate transferring to an incorrect user ID#. Please note I transfer according to Find A Grave Policy. |Deb Lindsley||Florence E (Clark) McNally FAG#51278460|
Question: The transcription for Florence McNally, Find A Grave #51278460, gives a birth date of 23 Nov 1877 and a death date of 29 Mar 1927, but the stone reads birth 1 Nov 1877 and death 30 Mar 1927. You mention a death certificate giving the names of her parents, who by the way were Marion "Lon" Alouidas Clark & Martha Jean Wade. Did you take the birth/death dates off the death certificate? I'm just wondering which dates were the correct ones and thinking the informant for the death certificate was wrong and another family member looked up the correct information and gave it to the stone mason who engraved the headstone. I'm not a close family member, but trying to help a distant cousin find the gravestone of Marion "Lon" Clark's parents, Joseph Smith Clark and Elizabeth "Betsy" Ann Peninger.

Thank you so much! When I first started with Ancestry, I thought if the photos were on their website, they were for free use, until people started downloading my personal family photos and reposting them as their own. I knew my photos because they were edited by me from my original scans. My family photos have also shown up on other sites. I'm trying to give credit on any photo that has been attached to my family tree on Ancestry, so people are aware they are protected under copyright and are for personal use only.
By the way, I really like the photo you took. It's very easy to read, without any chalk, etc. on it! I really appreciate that!

I would like permission to use your photograph for my online family trees and for personal albums and booklets. The albums/booklets are all non-profit projects for family use. I would also notate your copyright.
I believe I found your photo already being used on an Ancestry family tree, and I can also add your copyright information as a note to that photo if you'd like.
