I joined FAG in March 2011 after finding this site while researching my ancestry. I retired on May 1, 2012 and look forward to spending more time researching. I enjoy helping others in their quest. Please feel free to use my photos; I have posted them for the benefit of others.|
I'm very happy to make corrections to the memorials I have created or transfer them to relatives. Please use the "Edit" tab to make suggested additions, corrections or request transfers. If I'm unable to contact you via e-mail or Public Message for any follow-up questions, I reserve the right to not make your suggested changes.
With the help of other volunteers, we've completed cataloging and photographing the original section (letter blocks) of Mountain View cemetery and the section of Mountain View (Block 1) that was originally St. Joseph's Cemetery. We're currently working on Roselawn Cemetery and have completed blocks 23-28.
I live in Pueblo, Colorado, but was born and raised in Wisconsin. I have research interest in the Whitney, Kelsey, Robersen, Mills and Stafford families.

Thank you for all the updates, obits and fabulous photos!
Brad I tried to put in an edit for the parents of John Tressler and I don't think the right number went in but it wouldn't let me go back and put it in again. Kay

So, if there isn't a photograph on Find A Grave of the headstones in the State Hospital section then there is no head stone out there for that person. And the same goes for the older stones along Sprauge, am I thinking about that right?

Did you take photos of all the old part of Mountain view? I took some pictures and I was going to post them and noticed that someone had already put them on. Anyway, I was out there today because I was suppose to take a picture and the office told me that it was in that old section along Sprauge and that if there was a stone it would be near the Brown gate. I checked and didn't find it. Would you remember seeing a stone for Harry Spear d. 1932. I'm assuming that if someone is looking and its not on Find A Grave then there is no stone out there. I learned two new things today: One there is a baby section at Mountain view and Two there is a section for State Hospital patients. I was also looking for someone in the State Hospital section and didn't find a stone. The office told me that there weren't any in that whole plot, unless someone put something out there.

"Thank You" So much for taking the time out of your day in fulfilling my request.

Yes it appears the year was 1913 not 1912 as the cemetery index and Pueblo Chieftain Obit Index both have 1913. I have noted this on the memorial page
