I joined FAG in March 2011 after finding this site while researching my ancestry. I retired on May 1, 2012 and look forward to spending more time researching. I enjoy helping others in their quest. Please feel free to use my photos; I have posted them for the benefit of others.|
I'm very happy to make corrections to the memorials I have created or transfer them to relatives. Please use the "Edit" tab to make suggested additions, corrections or request transfers. If I'm unable to contact you via e-mail or Public Message for any follow-up questions, I reserve the right to not make your suggested changes.
With the help of other volunteers while I was living in Pueblo, we completed cataloging and photographing the original section (letter blocks) of Mountain View cemetery, the section of Mountain View (Block 1) that was originally St. Joseph's Cemetery, and Block 2. I also cataloged and photographed blocks 12, 15-19, 23-30, 52-53 at Roselawn Cemetery
I now live in Buena Vista, Colorado, but was born and raised in Wisconsin. I have research interest in the Whitney, Kelsey, Robersen, Mills and Stafford families.

|Jana Ulrich||RE: Melvina Whitney|
Melvina's birth date is per her Virginia death certificate. This is also the date of birth listed in her entry in "The MacNaughtons and MacMillans of Michigan" Compiled by the 100th Ruinion Committee, 1993, pg 235 which cites the following sources:
Kent County Marriage LIcense #5952, obituaries on file from The Richmond News Leader, family data submitted by and correspondence with Natalie Friend Whitney".
Let me know if this isn't enough or if you need anything else.
Jana Wellman Ulrch
Jana, what's your source for Melvina's DOB?

Thank you for the transfer. It has taken years to find him. There was an old family story that he went to find Pikes Peak and never came back. It guess the story was true. Thanks again. Susan

I had long ago given up ever finding the cemetery records for my paternal great grandparents but thanks to you, I believe I have found them.
Cecelio Vigil #106768341; Do you or the cemetery have any other details for his death/burial?? I am looking for a name/something to document this is my Cecelio. Or can you direct me to who I might contact for any death info???
I found an index listing for the Pueblo Chieftain that ran Dec 2 1924, stated he died 29 Nov 1924. I am waiting to hear from the library if I can obtain a copy of that OBIT.
I believe his wife is #106768377, she died 1915.
Thanks for any help or leads you might be able to pass on.
