PLEASE NOTE ..Find A Grave has started something new.|
Go to your Contributor Home Page and you will see an Edit Tab on the right hand side at the top. You will now need to approve or decline those edits submitted by users.
I am helping my mother with her genealogy research by locating our ancestors' graves. Then, I got involved with several friends, helping them create their trees and memorials. You can see the names we are following in my virtual cemeteries.
Along the way, I have found others' ancestors and created their pages. Now I am hot on the trail to document our ancestry to Col. Daniel Boone. And, to find the "Women of the American Revolution." If I have entered any information that is incorrect, please contact me for a correction. I want to keep the information as accurate as possible.
I'm happy to transfer management to family members, just ask! Please use the "Edit" tab and "Suggest a Correction" when doing so and remember to give your member# along with your relationship or reason for the transfer.
I believe that memorials should belong to family members whenever possible, as family have a personal interest in honoring their relatives and are better able to complete, maintain and improve memorials with additional details and research. I am more than willing to have family members "adopt" them.
Please feel free to use any photos I have posted in your research work. © Photo courtesy of Find-a-grave member #47361005

I found her living with a Smeal family in one of the census I wasn't sure if it is her seems no one has sources for her except for she talked witha thick accent some say she was from Austria but I had no luck looking
Do you have any info on my grandmother Blanche's mother Isabelle (Elizabeth) Stine many of her children's obits have her maiden name listed as that but several older family members disagree so I hit a brick wall on that one a long time ago, any help I would appreciate. Gloria

Thanks for the tutorial on the new edit request system, which I'm still confused about as I have also been receiving other edit requests the old way, but oh well.
I've made the correction to Anna Madlina Weiser's last name. Thanks for pointing it out!
Thanks for the update about edits, Janice. I did not know this had been changed! Also, any transfers you want from this cemetery you may have-I have no relatives in this area & went to it to do some volunteer photos.

One more thing I forgot to tell you. The edit tab is on your bio page, not on each individual memorial page. That edit tab is different. Look at the top righthand side of your bio page for a small edit tab. It appears just to the left of the contributors tools tab.

|Macso||RE: new edit feature|
If you have edits that you are not getting the "old" way, a small number will appear next to the edit tab. If there is no number there, there are no pending edits. Once a number appears and you click on the tab, the list will appear. Then you will be able to review your edits, accept, deny or ignore them. With 3,000 memorials, you may not get many. I have over 20,000 and only get those type of edits a couple times a week.

|David Hawk||RE: Pitts photo|
Our Hawks were in Illinois for many years. We (my sister and I) corresponded with an Illinois Hawks woman a couple of months ago. She is descended from a brother of my gr gr grandfather, Greenville Hawks. My sister is the historian for the Hawks - her email address is: email@example.com. If your relatives are into family history have them contact her.
|Jackie||RE: Charles D Evans|
Hulda Hilyard was born Hulda Evans - same parents as Charles. Hulda md Archilles Hilyard (my relative). THere are vague (unsubstantiated) ancestry trees that say CHarles md May Emma Hilyard (a niece of Achilles). It fits yet no proof and Kansas is not big on public records.
