Bio Photo I live in Kane County, Illinois, and am willing to take photos of gravesites in Elburn, Kaneville and Sugar Grove areas.

My father's family is from Fulton County, Illinois, but originally from Windham County, Vermont, and Groton, MA. My research focuses on GILSON, LORD, PATCH, HART, COPE, SWOPE, MYERS and BRANSON families.

My mother's family is from the Netherlands.

I appreciate those who list their source when posting my photos to other Web sites, such as :)

RE: Ellis Shields
Many thanks for your reply. I am adding this to my issues list for my next trip to the Fulton County court house. Nothing compares to time in the archives. :) Will let you know if I find helpful info. Thanks again!

Ellis Shields
Hi Gina,

Thanks for all the work you have done on Find A Grave! I have a question about Ellis Shields I hope you can help with. There are 2 records for Ellis Shields that appear to be for the same person. Summum Cemetery # 45703482 and also Summum Sixteen Cemetery# 38571902. The birth dates are the same, wife same, death dates are different by only 1 year. Can you help us resolve the question?

Many Thanks!

Almah Frisby @ Forest Home Cem., Milw., WI.
Hi Gina, no, I had no proof that Almah and Franklin were married. Therefore, I looked up census forms and you are correct that they were not married, but just related. I went with the "assumption" that they were married because they were on the same stone. I have made the correction to put Almah's last name back to Frisby and also linked her parents to her memorial. Since they are not of my family, if you would like a transfer, please let me know, I'd be happy to do so. Thanks for the info. Regards, Nadeen
