Bio and Links
Bio Photo I finally had to change my profile picture. The old picture of my youngest son was quite out of date considering he's going into 2nd grade next year :( He still enjoys going out to take pictures with me so there's still hope for him!
There are so many old cemeteries in this part of NC so we are trying to post as many interments as possible to help all you researchers out. Also, most of the stones they used for markers in the 1800's are not standing up to the elements very well so it's a race against time to get as many pictures as possible. If you are looking for more NC relatives, I am working with the team of volunteers at They have surveyed and taken pictures of a ton of cemeteries in central NC.

One of the most popular questions I get emailed is asking permission to use "my" photos. The short answer is yes, you can use any pictures I have taken. I don't require references or accreditation because that's not why I joined the website and volunteer to take photos. I don't consider them my property unless you use them to somehow make millions of dollars (then I'd appreciate a small kickback) :)

July 2016

Work on Alamance Memorial Garden is giong well. There are 18 sections and a mausoleum and I have completed 9. All the pictures I took up in western VA are uploaded! Taking a little break due to the heat (and just needing a break from hanging out in cemeteries). Fun fact: I have approved 11837 edits since they switched to this new edit system. That's about 1/3 the memorials I have created! Great job fellow Findagravers!

Pine Hill Cemetery, Alamance
If I had an person of African American descent whose death certificate said he was buried in Burlington City Cemetery in 1963 would it have been Pine Hill or a different cemetery ?

Alamance County
I just wanted to thank you for all of the work you do for Find A Grave. Your photos are great and it is a pleasure to have someone who processes edits quickly. I was born in Burlington and still have a lot of friends there, so Alamance is close to my heart. Thank you for all of your contributions. :)

RE: Allred transfers
Thank you so much for the previous Allred transfers. These individuals are mostly paternal cousins (and their spouses) and I would be glad to accept any and all other Allred's you would care to transfer since he is probably related one way or the way to most of these individuals.
Again, thank you.
