RE: William Baba # 92335130
Hi Dominique. I had my daughter research William. She is very good at that. She has an Ancestry account and found he was living in Newark New Jersey when he enlisted. He was 6'7" and weighed 121 lbs. No info on his military service other then his enlistment. She checked for a military headstone request and found nothing. His headstone is granite not white marble like all the military headstones I've seen. Also his wife is on the headstone which I don't believe the military stone would include. I believe his family had the stone made. You might check for a DD 214 for him. Good luck and Best Regards, Les

Beyer, Gail A. Entered into Eternal Life on January 23, 2014, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Doris Kresheck-Beyer. Loving father of Gail "Tiger" (Teri Kieffer) Beyer II and Mary Irene (Beyer) Greub. Proud grandfather of Catherine Isabella Greub. Dear brother of the late Norton Beyer. Further survived by other relatives and good friends. Gail was a 1943 graduate of Sheboygan High School. Immediately following graduation he became a member of the 101st Airborne Division and went on to proudly serve his country during WWII, serving in the D-Day invasion, June 6, 1944, the Battle of the Bulge and was a highly decorated WWII veteran. He was a member of the American Legion Post #449 and the VFW Post #9496. Gail was a part of the "Greatest Generation"! He had his own accounting practice and upon retirement pursued his musical interest and formed the "Ten Tones" a ten piece orchestra. He had a true love for nature and enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially in the north woods of Wisconsin. But above all, Gail's love for family was unsurpassed; he will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 29, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at Three Holy Women - Holy Rosary Church, 2011 North Oakland Avenue, Milwaukee, followed by the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM. Interment at Southeastern Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove will be private for the family. Memorials in Gail's name may be made to Holy Rosary Parish.

Harold J Wilson
First, thank you so much for what you are doing documenting US burials in Europe from WWII. My family was lucky as my grandfather came home from the war. Would like permission to use the tombstone photo of Harold J Wilson who died Feb 16, 1945 in my family file. If allowed, how would you like photo credit given? Thanks again for all you do!
