|My sister and I have been working on our genealogy for over 30 years. We got the bug when an aunt of ours showed us a newspaper article on how to trace your family.We've hit a few|
road blocks from time to time like the family bible filled with pictures and not one name. Our family is all from Pennsylvania and we live in New Jersey, so over the years we've copied over 40 cemeteries in Burlington county, NJ.

|Sheryl Miller||John Miller|
Thank you for posting John & Magdalena Miller's headstones at the Palmyra Cemetery. John's stone is difficult to read -- he died 19 May 1871 not in 1851. Two sources are his death notice in the Lebanon Courier, Lebanon, PA, on 1 June 1871, "On the 19th inst., in Palmyra, John Miller, aged 80 years 1 month and 4 days," and his burial record at Christ Reformed Church, Annville, PA, shows that John died 19 May 1871. Congregation: Palmyra; Denomination: Reformed." In addition, his will (Lebanon County Will Book D, page 589), dated April 21, 1865, with codicils added in 1868, 1870, and 1871. John was my ancestor's
(Thomas Miller's) brother.
