There are so many old cemeteries in this part of NC so we are trying to post as many interments as possible to help all you researchers out. Also, most of the stones they used for markers in the 1800's are not standing up to the elements very well so it's a race against time to get as many pictures as possible. If you are looking for more NC relatives, I am working with the team of volunteers at cemeterycensus.com. They have surveyed and taken pictures of a ton of cemeteries in central NC.

One of the most popular questions I get emailed is asking permission to use "my" photos. The short answer is yes, you can use any pictures I have taken. I don't require references or accreditation because that's not why I joined the website and volunteer to take photos. I don't consider them my property unless you use them to somehow make millions of dollars (then I'd appreciate a small kickback) :)

November 2014

The Fall has been busier than I anticipated and I have not been able to spend much time in cemeteries, on Findagrave or ancestry.com... It's a shame that life gets in the way of hobbies some times. I hope to get back to it soon!!

RE: John Euliss and Barbara Lineberry Euliss
Hi Jason and Mitzie...thank you so much for all the work you have done for others. It really helps for those of us who live far from the areas our ancestors lived in. I would be happy to take over John Euliss and Barbara Lineberry. Thank you again, Sherrie Goley Fields

John Euliss and Barbara Lineberry Euliss
Hi, thanks for putting my 4th greatgrandparents on find a grave. I wonder where you got the information that Polly Euliss(-1822) was one of their children?
I have a copy of John Euliss's will and he names all his children (even the dec'd ones)and grandchildren and she is not mentioned. Mary "Polly" Euliss who married William "Will" Gorley/Goley they used both spellings until after the civil war),my 3rd Ggrandparents were. Mary "Polly" was deceased at the time of the will. It is possible that the Polly you mentioned died unmarried and had no heirs and that is why she was not mentioned in John's will. So, just in case that is the case, I'd love to have her information. Thanks, Sherrie Goley Fields

Jason & Mitzie,

I'm currently working on the Wall Family tree for a friend of a friend, and his Father was Jesse James Wall(1905-1981)

I did not find a George Wall in the 1910 or 1920 census records, but A "TOM" Wall born abt 1901.

Other records show George as a Son of Eddie and Emma Wall.

SSSSOOOooooo.... did George have the nickname of TOM when he was growing up, and into the 1930's?
I ask, because in the 1940 census, the head of house became George. (Same wife and same children)

Warmest regards,

Bill
