Wife's name of Thomas Layton
Hi Phyllis!

How did you come by the name of Mary Ann for Thomas Layton's wife's name?

It's been a while since we communicated. Have you come upon anything else new in your researching?

I don't want to lead you astray. I have added the cemetery marker for this memorial if you wish it for your records. If you would like I can transfer the memorial to you. I cannot find his parents in this cemetery but they may very well be here. The stones may be missing or unreadable. He is buried next to Henrick Heffekfinger son of Colla & Catharine. He passed on Jan 17, 1797 at the age of 78 years and 1 month. Mike

I appreciate that but it is not correct. I am sharing fact. There was no Spring City in the 18th century. It was incorporated as a borough in 1867 from East Vincent. I am not trying to be difficult, really. Mike

Hello, I am not going to accept your request to make Spring City in Chester County as his place of death because Spring City did not come into existence until 1867. If you revise it to East Vincent Township, I will accept it. Thanks. Mike

Barbara White
Midway Farm Cemetery
Hi,
Thank you for your research and help with the Rodes/Roades family.

Please take a look at what I entered for your suggestions to see if I have it correct.
Are Charles Rodes and Mary Rodes both buried at Midway Farm?

Thanks,
B

Thomas Corbin
Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Coshocton County, Ohio, USA

You mentioned on Thomas' facebook page that his parents, Umphrey and Elsie, are buried at the other end of the family plot.

Would you be able to set up a memorial with a photo for (H)Umphrey ad Elsie (Alcey Alice Conaway) Corbin?

I live in Missouri and I don't think I'll ever be in Ohio to do this myself.

Thank you if you can help!

Beth Harkins Shields
Umphrey and Elsie are my 4th great grandparents on my father's side of the family.

Thank you for taking the time to add bio information to the entries in Fairview Cemetery. This cemetery is in a state of neglect, and the residence deserve better. Thank you. Chuck

Thank you so very much for the information.
I know they said there were "hiccups" (findagrave words, not mine) and some of the memorials may be created twice. I hate to delete flowers on the first memorial created, so will see if Find A Grave will combine. The pics are on the 2nd memorial.

Thank you!
