I have found that doing genealogy is not a cold gathering of facts but, instead, breathing life into all who have gone before. How many graves have I stood before and cried? How many times have I walked up to a grave and felt somehow there was love there for me? The bones here are bones of my bone and flesh of my flesh. It goes to doing something about it. It goes to pride in what our ancestors were able to accomplish. |
Please feel free to use any photo of mine for your family research or if you want me to transfer a memorial to you please let me know.

The John Cooper you refer to in Mt. Vernon Cemetery is not John Cooper, he is John Copper.
Thanks for trying!

Thank you so much for taking the photo of Paul and Mildred McAtee at Mount Vernon Cemetery in Elizabeth Township, Allegheny County, PA. I lived there in Buena Vista with my cousin's family for a few months last year. I passed by Mount Vernon Cemetery quite often. My grandparents are buried there. I didn't lean until recently that my grandfather's cousin, Paul McAtee, was also buried there. I now live in North Carolina. I thought my grandparents were the only family buried there. Now I know better. Thanks again.

Thank you very much - we are in England (and therefore unable to visit the Cemetery) and have been hoping for a picture of the headstone for some time.
Thank You for photographing Lotta Wright's Monument. She was my Great Aunt...
