|I am trying to help people with their family history. |
I will continue to list a new memorial so people can find it when the first and last names are totally different than Green Hills shows.
To the wonderful, nice people on findagrave, I will gladly add dates, relationships, plot and grave, etc., just let me know.
If you want a transfer, please include your findagrave contributor number and the relationship (she's my aunt, neighbor, friend. For the last 2, indicate how long you've known them.)
If I'm not related, or you're a closer relative or I have known them a shorter time, I will transfer.
I'm in the process of adding a source to the Fredericksburg National Cemetery monuments. Until I finish, it's listed in the book Civil War Burials Fredericksburg Virginia,compiled and edited by Maude E. Mercer Sellman 1979.
I walked Green Hills for exercise, sometimes forgot the broom to sweep the stones. If you need a better picture, request a photo from a volunteer.
I don't use my real name cuz of a toxic couple on findagrave! I believe they are inactive now!
Happy ancestor hunting!

I like the candle and flame and note you have about my father Charles Pyeatt Please leave that if you will on the website. I wanted to tell you I work at Fredericksburg National Military Park and the cemetery is just a few steps from where I work. Would you like a picture of the cemetery or do you have those? Over the 15,000 men buried in the cemetery just a handful are identified otherwise they are buried in mass graves. They did not bury them until after the War when National Military Cemeteries came about. What constituted a body was a head. Gruesome but true.

I would like to thank you very much for the work you do at Green Hills Cemetery and find a grave.
I was hoping you would remove my parents marriage certificate and the write up on my folks. It is a nice write up but there is information in there that we do not want to be public. I have my father's Military Service memorial on Fold 3 that I wrote from his military records. My mother was always a very private person and she would be "upset" if their personal information was on i.e. marriage certificate and the write up. I would appreciate you removing those items.

|Lola Leach||Transfer request|
Elizabeth F. Margrave (memorial# 22916342) was my grandmother, and I would appreciate it if you could transfer management of this memorial to me, I would like to add links to additional family members. Thank you so much for your attention to this request, and for the service you provide to those of us who are researching our family ancestry.
|Bernie Cooper||Thomas Jefferson Tucker|
Thomas Jefferson Tucker #21299177 was a Union Soldier not a Confederate Soldier. His unit was the 1st Arkansas Cavalry, Co. I, USA. Arkansas had a 1st Cavalry on both sides. Thanks Bernie Cooper, Oklahoma Sons of Confederate Veterans Grave Registration Officer.

My grandmother passed away in 1997 and left hundreds of obituaries of friends, family, and neighbors in the Kenmare/Tolley ND area. I found Harold's among them. I sent it, attaching it in the SUGGEST ANY OTHER CORRECTION OR ADDITION area. I hope you will consider adding it to his memorial. I also found both his parents obits in her scrapbooks and created memorials for them. Thanks for your consideration.

I worked at RHCC from 1997-2001, then moved to Ventura county to work full-time for the ANG. I have great friends that still work there and just love Byron - he's one of the best Bible teachers I've met in my life. We currently live in Kern County. Blessings!
