I am a wife and mother of 4 daughters. I am also library director at the Beardstown Houston Memorial Library in Beardstown, IL. My library's Project Next Generation group is helping to document Oak Grove Cemetery in Beardstown, IL as thoroughly as possible.|
My home town is Peoria, IL, but I currently live in Rushville, IL. I am a family historian and try my best to upkeep the local history archives that my library holds. I love going on cemetery hunts and taking pictures, so please ask me if there is someone in or near Beardstown or Rushville that you are looking for - I may be able to help!

I have another family tree which my cousin added which I am an active member of, I added Grace to it. And if you would like I can add you as a member so you can add more info. about the family, and maybe even learn some more, our tree is always growing.
|Daniel Pletcher||Grace D Berry|
I noticed that you are managing Grace's obit. grace married my grandma's cousin Emden after his wife Wanda died. I was just wondering how you might be related to Grace.
|Kris||James M. Ward|
James Madison Ward was my 3rd great grandfather. Can I use the headstone photo you took (memorial #44633586)for my family tree on www.Ancestry.com?

I was just wondering if you are related to Harry Milton Miller, who died in Salem Oregon in 1998?
Can you add the headstone photo to his wife's memorial (so you can get credit for the volunteer photo).

|Charlotte Cook||RE: Henrietta Meyers|
Molly, I really appreciate your offer of assistance. Henrietta Meyers has quite an interesting history. She was born Henrietta King.
She first married Theodore H Cook 7 Jan 1854 and they had four children. The child I am trying to track was Albert Theodore Cook b: abt 1861 in Ohio.
When Theodore H Cook went into the Civil War, Henrietta had an affair with William Meyers b: abt 1832, and Henrietta and William took off for Mount Vernon, Jefferson, Illinois. Henrietta took with her Theodore's son Albert Theodore Cook.
Albert Theodore shows on the Federal Census from 1870 thru 1930 as Theodore Myers (MAYERS, MEYERS) and then drops off. It appears that his mother Henrietta gave him the last name of Meyers and started using his middle name of Theodore.
There is another Theodore Meyers in Illinois who married an Ida R...I do not believe that this is the same Theodore I am looking for because records show him with a different set of parents.
I know that Albert Theodore Cook MEYERS was alive and living in Mt. Vernon, Illinois up until 1930 (obituary of Theodore H Cook). Any assistance in locating information on Albert Theodore Cook MEYERS would be appreciated
