I have always been a fan of genealogy. Being a member of many local historical societies, I have been able to obtain copies of old cemetery records. Many of the graves are not in the Find A Grave data base. I am slowly entering the information. I will attempt to photo as many stones as possible since several are going the way of all flesh & will soon be lost forever. I hope my efforts bring some happiness to people looking for their ancestors. Moving forward, only in EXTREMELY isolated cases will I transfer memorials which I have created. Also, my photos may not be used for any purpose without my prior authorization. I have completed updating all the corrections that I have received these past months. Once again, thanks so much for your patience. I am willing to take photos in McHenry County even though I no longer live there as I'm not too far away. FYI, I always take a main photo of the stone & a close up if warranted. This year will not be the same as my best friends, Trinity & Neo (the ones in my pic), have joined my parents on the other side for the next step of the journey. | |

 | Eltie Ardel Osborne Hall. After years of searching to match some old photos of my grandmother;s; I found the grave you photographed for Eltie. I've attached it to her sister, Rhuie in MA, and to the Ancestory website to enable others to find them. I've also sponsored her memorial. Thank you very much. John Whalen | | | john whalen

 | Franklinville Cemetery, McHenry, Illinois Just read that you are no longer living in McHenry County.....I am coming with my sister in May to actually see the graves that you photographed for us quite some time ago. I do have a question for you though. I am having a difficult time finding out how to get to this cemetery~even on mapquest and googling everything I can think of! I remember when we visited a few years back that we ran out of time before we could find it(that was before you posted the pictures). This time we are coming to see this cemetery before we spend the rest of our time in Wisconsin. Hoping you can help! Wish you were still there as I was hoping to meet you. Your kindness was so appreciated ~especially of Susannah Hubbard Sanborn. Sandy in WA state | | | Joy Brown
