I was wondering if you might have the opportunity to take a picture of Jane Hill's (Jane Anna Kitchens Hill wife of John Hill) headstone in the Preston Cemetery?
I had asked you last year during deer hunting season. :-) bad timing!
I appreciate your time and consideration.
Very truly yours,
Laura Clippard Lewis

I have added a photograph to your memorial, no. 10525165. It shows the stone as it was in 1986, still intact and standing upright. Thank you for all the work you have done at Find A Grave!

Same as prior two inquiries but for John Dauer... Laura

If I go to the trouble of "keying" and sending to you a "biographical sketch" from, "Portrait and Biographical Record of Randolph, Jackson, Perry and Monroe Counties, Illinois" by the Biographical Publishing Company, published 1894, concerning Charles R. Miller, will you consider using the content to expand his FAGrave memorial? I realize the document is not a primary source and therefore, you may be hesitant to rely on it. Laura Duncan

Thank you for memorial no. 10525165, which you created for John M. McKenze. I notice that you also provided the picture of his grave marker, or what is left of it. I was saddened to see that the stone is broken and lying on the ground, especially in light of the fact that it was whole and standing upright the last time I saw it. I have a picture of the stone, intact, that I took in 1986, if you would care to add it to the memorial. Please contact me if you are interested.

Lucy, will you please remove the photos of the temporary markers from Robert A. Knoke's memorial? DaWaRa says he has current photos with all dates now inscribed. Thank you.

Are you the person doing research on African American history in Randolph county in the town of Eden? Do you know some of the African American Cemeteries?
