I am a direct descendant of the Copp, Brown, Peck, Ward, McIntyre, and Shaw families on my father's side. Roloff, Crescelius, Garbrecht, Pfersich, Zastrow, and Ziemer families from Prussia on my mother's side. I am making a special effort to photograph stones at Terre Haute Cemetery in Henderson County, IL. Many of the stones are faded and breaking off. I want to preserve them digitally before it's too late. My Peck & Shaw ancestors rest at this cemetery, so it is very important to me.|
As with everyone else, if you find a relative's memorial that I have created, you can have it to manage. Just drop me a note via Find-a-Grave. I am creating memorials because I can get to these cemeteries to take the pictures. I appreciate the memorials people have made for my family members who are buried far away. Thank you, all!

Hi! I am writing about a recent photo you uploaded of the grave of John R. Conklin. You have some erroneous information about him. I am a descendant of his brother Irenius O. Conklin, and have done extensive research on this line. If you don't mind, I have the correct information for you:
John Richey Conklin, b. 13 Dec 1838, Muskingum OH., d. 1 Jul 1919. Married Albina Phares, 29 Mar 1866. Children: Allen, Trotty, Claudus, Paul, Maude, Cora and Robert. I have a copy of the original application for his headstone in Hope Cemetery. I have it saved on my Ancestry account. I would be happy to copy this for you if you would like.

I just happened to be at Springdale on a cooler day, looking for something else, and I'm always attracted to old German families. Are they your relatives and do you want them?
I've spent most of the summer helping at Spring Bay Cemetery, getting photos and bios, and putting up photos I took at a small unphotographed cemetery in Bayfield Co, Wisconsin.

1) My apologies for being so long in replying. I thought Find A Grave messages were forwarded to one's email basket as it is with Ancestry … guess not.
2) I've removed the photo I placed on Mary's site. I had grabbed the wrong Mary E. when posting. Please put up your photo. I have the right one but it is probably many years older than yours.
3) GREAT hat!

Could you transfer Anna's Memorial to me. She is my gg aunt. I apparently created a duplicate in the wrong cemetery and would like to remove it and update her information.

Many thanks for the correction & bio on Virgil.
I see you are staying busy with all your research.
Have a good week-end,
