|Judy T||Gardner, Ruel L. PFC|
We have PFC Ruel L. Gardner gravestone in the Dempsey Cemetery, Roger Mills COunty, Oklahoma though he is buried in the American War Cemetery at Margraten Netherlands. We have been in touch with Theo Vanhedel who was searching for picture and more information on this American Hero... There is a memorial on Findagrave in the Dempsey cemetery, though Ruel was blown up with another fellow and the family honored him by placing a stone in this cemetery near their homestead here in Oklahoma... Just thought I would let you know the double entry and I don't know what to do about it.. Some of Ruel's cousins still live here in Roger Mills County and if we can help you further with any information, please write me at Tdale55@aol.com...
Thank you for remembering our fallen heroes.

Thank you so much for the pics of my mother's cousin and his gravestone. I never got to meet him but learnt he was such a lovely man. Died way too young. God go with him. Maree

I cannot do that as he is now listed as Famous and those changes are handled by the Admins. In this case, it is not likely appropriate information for a Famous memorial (you wouldn't give Patton's serial number, for example, in a memorial).
You have the wrong photo for this memorial. Please delete the photo.
Thank you for adding a photo of my grandfather's grave (Albert Barth + 09.04.45). Unfortunately he died 4 weeks before end of war on Texel Island. He and his camerads had already retired into a cave for waiting until the end of war, where they were shot by partisans. Whatever, the picture means a lot for my father (born 1941). Thanks for your efforts! Anja Barth

Thank you for you your time and effort. For some reason, I didn't notice the picture sooner.
