I'm sorry - I thought that's what I was doing. I am clicking on Edit, then on suggest correction. I may have forgotten, I guess. Thank you for making the cemetery corrections.

Is it okay to use the photos, provided you are given credit? Thanks.

I not sure exactly what you are asking here. But my grandmother was Ocie Fern (Shively) Hoy.

No relation that I know of. Had some distant relatives of my husband buried at Chestnut Grove, so when I found some cemetery records in my travels, I copied as much as I could and then added them later to Findagrave.

Thank you for the photo.
|Sherry Paul Duty||RE: Armstrong Family|
Thank you for your help, with the Armstrong family.
I have the records of the cemetery from the Township clerk. But I also have the family records that my sister and I have been researching for years.
The cemetery records can not be complete and are erroneous in the case of the twins, They were born in 1838, Alpheus W. died Aug. 5, 1840 and Alfred V. Armstrong died February 28, 1850. the records say 1810 and 1830.
There are many family members missing from the Armstrong and Dolph Family that died in Schoolcraft Twp area in those early years and can only be buried in that cemetery. I have searched the surrounding cemeteries for them. On the off chance they were buried else where and it makes no sense for them to be in any other cemetery as there are so many empty graves and they would not be with family.
If you look at the plots of 8 graves per plot there are many blank, I believe that our missing famliy members are in those graves. Either they were not recorded or someone copied the records and left them off.
How to prove it? I am still looking for information, would be lovely to find a family bible with the information, just have to keep looking.
At this time I am not sure who Francis, Mary and Carolyn Armstrong and others in Lot 342 are. I'm not sure they are related to the other Armstrongs.
James Armstrong and Elizabeth George Armstrong are my 5th great grandparents. Their daughter Emeline Armstrong Dolph, wife of Harvey Dolph., my 4th great grandmother is one of those missing. She was born 1826 and died February 1852 in Schoolcraft Township. Also her sister Linney Armstrong Everet/Evert,born 1820 who lived in Three Rivers after she married but is believed to have also died at home in Schoolcraft Township, also in about 1852. Both sisters had their last child in that year, possibly had complications of child birth. Their husbands married again Peter Everet/Evert with in 1853 and Harvey Dolph moved his family and married in 1854, which would be understandable as they both had very young children. There are others missing as well.
Would be interested in any information you find.

|Sherry Paul Duty||Armstrong Family|
Thanks again on behalf of Armstong family for your new photos for Alpheus W. and Alfred V. and Francis Armstrong.
The photo you took for James is already attached to Find A Grave Memorial# 45862142 for son of John Quincey Adams Armstrong born 1858 died 1859.
the James I was looking for is his grandfather
James Armstrong born 1788 died Oct 28, 1876. Find A Grave Memorial# 148588257. I have the cemetery records he is suppose to be in lot 48 grave 1.
There may be no stone for him it seems there are a few family members reported to be buried there with no markers.
Thank you for all you do. It is greatly appreciated.
