Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been doing genealogy for about 25 years, and have been remarkably successful finding obscure records documenting family (america resident) back to 1700+/-.

An obvious effort was documenting graves of deceased family members around the country, which led to my documenting (older) graves generally, which I've now started submitting to find-a-grave. Great place!

McCallum and Campbell families
I can supply the ancestry of Jane McCallum who married Robert Campbell and Margaret/Mary McCallum who married Robert's brother Dugald. They were the daughters of Angus McCallum of Dahlnahasaig, Kilmichael Glassary. They were half-sisters - Jane's mother was Mary McVicar and Mary's was Elizabeth McDougall. I have marriage and death certificates to prove their parentage and also the Will of Angus's brother Neil who left Jane Five Pounds when he died naming who her father was. Neil and his wife had no children of their own and Jane was living with them in 1861 census (coded as daughter) and 1871 census (Niece)I am descended from Angus McCallum's brother Donald who married a Christina Campbell in 1846 at North Knapdale. The couple went to South Australia in 1853. All I know about Christina is her father was Duncan, walked miles every Sunday to preach but do not think he was a minister and that she was a 'Campbell from Arichonan'.

Nice pictures of the Easton family. You don't happen to know where Vesta Amy (Easton) Lawrence is buried,or her husband do you? For her husband I have seen both George Washington Lawrence and William George Lawrence.
Thanks
Dianne

RE: Easton Photos
I agree this is a wonderful site. I looked for my Grandmother's grandparents for 25 years, then there they were on find a grave. I flew to Missouri to visit their graves, nice to be retired.

Hi Dugal, I made the changes you suggested, and then transferred management to you.
I don't live near there, but my people are from Michigan, I was looking for someone, and got sidetracked!

Greetings Dugal,

The double names came from a glitch in an upload. I have been correcting them as I come to them.

I'm afraid I don't have photos of their grave, but I have requested one.

I also transferred them to you as you are related to them. I'm happy you found them.

Best regards

Ed
