Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a dental hygienist with 5 sons and 8 (so far) grandchildren. I wanted to give my children the gift of their heritage and have found it to be very challenging. Even if you have the correct name and approximate dates of birth and death, it can still be overwhelming to track down information to prove your premise. I'm hoping to help myself and others by contributing photos that I take in a variety of cemeteries in my travels

the wrong Joseph Walker
the man Joseph Walker that you have hooked with Wanda L. Caruthers (1962 - 2012)* is the wrong Joseph Walker. Her father was Joseph Howard Walker Jr. Birth June 19, 1930 in Maryland, USA
Death May 9, 1998 in Concrete, Skagit, Washington, USA

he was cremated and sprinkled along his son James Vernon Walker somewhere in Queen Anne County Maryland. he was my father and she my sister.

*Calculated relationship

James Walker
Re; Joseph Walker Calvary Cemetery
I am Joseph Walker's son, James. You have listed as a relative Wanda L. Caruthers. I know for a fact that Wanda is no relation to my father. Please correct this posting. Thank you.

RE: Giacomo Navone 1896-1948
Yes, I always take lots of photos when I go "graving" and then come home and set up memorials for all those who are not already in the database.

As regards Giacomo Navone, would you like me to send you the photo of his grave or would you prefer I set up a memorial for him and then transfer to you later when/if you find out he is yours? Or would you like to set up the memorial and then make a request for the photo and I'll upload it to his page? However you would like to do it is fine with me, just let me know.

Have a great day!

Giacomo Navone 1896-1948
As I was out strolling through the cemetery today, I grabbed a few photos of veterans' graves. One of them was for the above named Mr. Navone.

Before creating a memorial for him, I did a search and came upon your Giacomo Navone, also in Calvary Cemetery Seattle! Could the one I found belong to you as well?

He was a Private, Company M, 13th Infantry, Washington; World War I.

Let me know and I'll be glad to send you the photo!

Take Care

If not family, I would like to request the transfer of the following family member:

Marjorie DARST Kritonis 1 JAN 1921-21 SEP 1947 (daughter of Ralph Leigh & Mary Leona REYNOLDS Darst)

Thank You.

Lets see...the layout design is actually personal preference of the owners of the cemetery. I have seen a marker surrounded by 4 smaller markers (each smaller marker has 4 surrounding sites). So a larger marker Say A would have 1,2,3,4 around it and then the marker could point to the other 4.

As a general rule, graves are laid out east and west...the same direction as the sun could face east or west...doesn't matter...i have heard that if the grave faces north or south then you were a bad boy, sinner, et cetera...

I have had to walk the whole cemetery on occasion to look for someone...

Good luck, keep in touch.

many thanks...

i had asked for a transfer from the other author for my family member and she refused. I requested a photo because I did not want to take hers and then be accused of theft...
it helps complete just one more step in my ancestors!
