I love "FindAGrave"! It's a wonderful concept. I will be adding more of my family and, hopefully, of others from the cemeteries in this area.

I just received an email saying that my edit was accepted. So hopefully it has been corrected on his page. Glad I could help with your request.

I hunted for his headstone on several different occasions then when I found hers I knew his was wrong. Don't know why I didn't put the two together before. I will try to do as you suggested about the right plot.

Aksel was featured in the Friends of Lone Fir Tour of Untimely Departures last Halloween. He was very popular - if you Google his name, there are several lengths to videos of the performance

I've sent you information on his death in the explosion of the torpedo boat and I've posted a photo of the newly installed marble base for his monument

The cemetery is in Logan, so I am thinking they didn't live far from the cemetery. Jefferson I am guessing is a Jefferson Township and sometimes people live just outside city limits but in a township near a certain city. Sometimes findagrave lists townships and sometimes they don't . Sometimes you can ask them to add a township into the info and see what happens. What I am thinking is cities often expand into township's territory and even if they didn't technically live in a city before they died, maybe after they died, what was their home might now be in that city. It is not a big deal for me one way or the other.... donna

You are very welcome. I have posted the memorials to help family members find them. I am always happy when they are "claimed" by family.

Do you have information about the Schuman family in the Astoria Cemetery or did you just post the grave pictures? It seems that there is a lot of info on the site and I wondered who entered it.Would love to know! Thanks!

No, I just wanted to pay my respects.
I assumed he was given his mother's maiden name and he named his daughter Elizabeth Hawthron.
