Bio and Links
Bio Photo I was born in Teaneck and raised in Palisades Park, Bergen County, New Jersey. Currently, I live in beautiful Hunterdon County. This place is truly "a little slice of heaven", nestled between two major American cities - New York and Philly. We boast of one of the last clean rivers in the East - the Delaware.

For many years, I'm involved with genealogy and local history as a hobby. It's a rewarding journey and a great source of personal comfort in light of the loss of my loved ones. Before my interest, history was my least favorite academic subject... boring! Now, I have a renewed curiosity of what life was like for our ancestors. What was the political, cultural and social environment of their day? What daily struggles did they endure just to survive?

Our ancestors treaded lightly upon this earth, and may not have left much behind. They deserve to be remembered with honor. After all, they made us who we are today.

Please note: A simple "thank you" to a volunteer is always appropriate. It lets them know that their efforts to help you are appreciated.

William Bloom Cooley documentation
Dear Beverly,

Thank you for all your fine contributions to findagrave. I see that you have supplied a death certificate for William Bloom Cooley.

I have relatives who passed away in NJ near that date and would like to view death certificates for them for the genealogical information that the certificates might have. Could you please tell me if you know a way to search for those certificates on line?

Edwin Kirby

I have Edwin's death certificate which does not list the names of his parents. He was born in NYC, his father was born in West Chester County, NY and his mother in Hempstead, Long Island. His wife's parents were Peter and Elizabeth. Edwin and Anna only had one son Edwin Jr who died at 10 months. I am related through the Lynans. How are you connected?

Feel free to email me directly:

(I like your name!).

Thanks so much for linking your Memorial for my grandmother to my grandfather's Memorial and for doing it so quickly. I don't know how I missed this one. Linking family members on Find A Grave is sort of a hobby of mine. Thank again!

The Genealogy Genie
Hello and thanks
I spoke with you a couple of years back, but I just wanted to thank you again for all you have done for my VanSickle family (including all its spellings). You really have taken a lot of time to document my family, and I can't thank you enough for your time and effort.
