***Life has temporarily slowed me down on making your additions and links. PLEASE cut me some slack in this regard. I have them and I am working through them.*****|
Photos: All gravestone photos posted under this account are copyrighted by me. Please receive permission before posting my photos to another site. Attribution to the photographer and/or Find A Grave is REQUIRED. I say this because I provide these pictures to you free and I want them to remain free. Some sites will steal these photos or charge people for them. I fight to keep that from happening and may issue take-down notices to any site that I find with my photos not attributed to me or Find-A-Grave, including Ancestry.com. I spend my time and money to help you find your family, I'm not interested in other people making money off me helping you.
Most of my photos are geotagged. Remember, GPS isn't exact, but it sure can be helpful to locate a stone.
If I've been helpful in your search, I'd love to hear about it. Drop me a line and let me know who you found.
If you have connections to Decatur county, IN, please consider submitting something to the Decatur County INGen Web. It's another free site (that I pay to provide) that depends on user contributions.
Corrections: Even though FindAGrave is a grave registration site, not a genealogy site, I love to add information, fix errors and make family links, so please feel free to send them to me via the Suggest A Correction button.
Feel free to add your photos to all memorials. Your name and link to your profile will appear with the photo.
Transfers: If I have prepared a memorial for your family member and you would like it transferred to you, please use the Suggest a Correction Link located in the upper right hand corner of each memorial. In your message, please state your relationship to the deceased. I use the FindAGrave transfer guidelines as a starting point for transfers, but often grant transfers outside of those guidelines. Telling me you are "related" and "you have information to add" probably won't get a transfer. You'll have the greatest chance of getting an 'out of guidelines transfer' if you tell me something interesting about the person or your family's connection to southern Indiana.

Thanks for updating Traci. This couple married in Scott Co., Indiana, April 28, 1864.
|Tonda||John Beesley info|
Hello--I have two John Beesley's on my family tree. I'm not sure which John this one is.
I notice a Herring headstone near John's headstone. I think if I knew the name(s) I could determine which John Beesley this one is. One of my John Beesley's is married to a Herring.
Thanks for all you do for Find a Grave. It is one of the most valuable sites I use.
I volunteer to photograph headstones in our area.

Will You Transfer The Obituary Of Donna Jane Bowman Noblitt To Me So That I Can Edit It?.Keri Nowling,
|Kathy Riley||William H. Roberts|
Sorry hit the button too soon. I just found a piece of information that I had tucked away that he did marry and Eliza Leach and had a son Ezra. Sorry for taking up your time. Now I can concentrate on his second family.
|Kathy Riley||William H. Roberts|
His spouse, Juda Ann Rley, was my husand's first cousin 3x removed. I was wondering if he was married prior to Juda, as they did not marry until 1849. Therefore, the child mentioned on his memorial could not have been hers. His marriage to Juda produced 7 children. Almost all the information I have on the Riley family in Indiana was sent to me over the years, some many years, ago. The majority of them are now gone and not too many of their offspring are interested in keeping the family going, as far as genealogy. I have not been able to find Juda Ann's gravesite so I can't get help from that standpoing. Just wondering if you are part of this Riley family or this is just a transcription. It was especially nice to run into William's, however, so I could add the cemetery to his that I didn't have. If you have information that I could use that would be great. Thank you and have a nice evening.

I would like your permission to copy gravestone photos to my Laswell Ancestry Family Tree. I always ask a photographer first and note them with the credit.
Interesting search found that Nancy & her sister, Sarah A. married brothers, William & Orren Coryell.

Hello, I would like to use the photo of the grave site for the above mentioned individuals in my genealogy. These individuals would be my grandfathers relatives.
Thank you so much.
