|Bio and Links|
I am a Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. We collect, glassware, vintage jewelry, Cowboy Collectables, and dust. We love Flea Markets, Country Auctions, and long highway yard sales.|
I started Find a Grave as a Photo Volunteer and decided that was too hard. I started photographing the entire cemetery, this way I could add them to the Computer at the Research Center and put them on Find a Grave also.
I walk the Cemeteries and take the photographs of the memorials I put on Find a Grave. I do not set at the computer and put memorials on in another state that I have no intention of putting a photograph on with it. I do not do this for the numbers, I do it to help others.
I will have to add to the above and say this winter I have been going through our county Cemetery Books and Creating new Cemeteries and making memorials for the ones buried in Family Cemeteries. It has been interesting to find them on Census records and connect them. I will try and locate the cemeteries and make a picture if I can. Sometimes the older family Cemeteries do not exist anymore. I did not want to add memorials that I could not add a picture. I decided that these people did not deserve to be forgotten, thus said here's hoping I can find a picture to add to the memorials. Keeping our County as up to date as possible.
I believe family should be with family. I make mistakes, I am human, just be nice when you let me know. It is not my intention to make duplicates, but names, initials, nicknames are not all known, and I gave up mind reading a few years ago. I try to correct, link or transfer as fast as I can. I do not believe it takes two months to type a few numbers.
If I add a photograph it is from the Funeral Home until I can add the gravestone marker. If I add the obituary it is from the Funeral Home or from the Daviess County Public Library, Owensboro Area Obituary Index database.
I look at the old monuments that have weathered many storms and mowers and wish they could tell of what lies beneath them. I feel that by photographing them now could be the last means of preserving them for our generation. Find a Grave is a wonderful site for sharing the photographs of family and discovering death and birth dates that might have been lost.
It is wonderful to meet and make friends with people I would otherwise never know. I love being able to help others in any way I can.
I believe in God, Family and Country. If this offends you, I am sorry. This is a short bio of me.
God Bless you and
God Bless the United States of America

|Carol Kaye||RE: Updates 4 Sunnyside|
I have finished entering information in Sunnyside sections A - D. I am using the listing from the cemetery book, which, as you know, was done in the 1990's. So you may still run into some missing.
Feel free to send me any changes I need to make on the ones I have entered, but don't hesitate to make any additions/corrections that you can. My toes are not being stepped on at all - I appreciate all the help I can get.

Thank you. Unfortunately, Find A Grave does not keep the SAGs among out messages. Thank you for clearing this up. Thanks for all the work you do on Find A Grave. It is an invaluable research tool.
|D. L. Lee||Thank you.|
Thank you so much for transferring the memorials of my grandmother's sister and her husband. You are so very kind--
Blessing to you, too,
|F Chambers||RE: Stewart Underwood|
I am confused regarding your message. I have 13 Underwood memorials but none for Stewart Underwood. I'm not sure what action to take. Like you I have 18,000+ memorials and get confused often trying to keep up with all them. Do I need to do anything regarding any Underwood memorial?
Thanks so much for the photos for Minerva, Julis and Aaron Lytle!
