My husband and I have been doing genealogy research|
since the 1970's, and enjoy it very much. We have
made a practice of sharing all the photos, and historical information we have with others, who are interested. I will be working with the Find a Grave
site so some of what we have will be posted there.

Anytime I come across a person that is willing to share photos without conditions, I just want to say Thank You!!!!!! That is very nice!
The info I sent you on him was taken from his death certificate. They are not always accurate but give us clues. Jan

Hello Joyce. I want to thank you for this site. I had no idea it existed. Just an update. My daughter Jenny Kathryn Bengtson is now Jenny Kathryn Holt and her husband Michael, have a beautiful daughter Alayna Kaylyn Holt. She has the Stiles eyes. If I find more photos I will add them. We gave Marlys a bunch of old black and whites but I think my sister has the majority of them.
Joyce . I was just at lakeview yesterday where I took this picture that I think is better then the one you have . If you like I can send you just the picture if you want to put it on for your self .Hutchingson/Sherburn// 01-01A-072-03-01 06/08/1876 79 Yrs Old

I am not related--just been working on several Orange County families over the years.
I noticed that you've been using chalk. Please, please don't do this. I can't stress enough that putting anything on headstones (chalk, shaving cream, household cleaners) will damage the stone. For difficult to read stones, many of us use a portable floodlight or mirror to shine sunlight across the face of a stone, making the lettering stand out.
Additional guidance can be found on the Association for Gravestone Studies website. Thank you.
