I first became interested in family history when my Mom did the research to become a member of Daughters of the American Colonists. There are four family tree projects that I am working on. The family names involved are Thompson, Blood and Akeley, Winger, and Humiston. I am also learning how to be what some may call a "Cemetery Walker," someone who does genealogical cemetery research, actually getting out there among the gravestones with a camera and a notepad. As I get into that my participation here will probably grow exponentially. On the World Connect Project my reference name is ALW48 which is a combination of my initials and birth year. I think this is enough for the first version of the Bio. Feel free to write me at any time and I will help as I have the opportunity :-)|

I transferred the Beightols buried in Grove Hill Cemetery to you, because I thought that they were your relatives. This assumption was based on the fact that these Beightols are related to Earl Ellis Beightol (Find A Grave Memorial# 95638083), who’s memorial is in your management, and that the photograph of Mr. Beightol has a tag to it saying “Grandfather Earl Ellis Beightol.”
If I made a mistake, I shall keep them in my management.
Sorry for the confusion.

The four transfers are should belong with you.

Hi Al, Thank you for caring. It's amazing that you, as a volunteer, take the time to research folks you don't know to connect to their family members. Unfortunately I have no info on Ida's father either, and I've lost touch with the family since her passing. I will continue to pursue the information, however, and will send you an edit if I ever come up with his burial site and am able to find/add a memorial for him. Best Regards, Bonnie

Hi Al, Thank you so very much for your prompt inclusion of my edit for Ida, which included a bio for her. Ida and her husband were my much beloved neighbors and friends for 35 years. Thanks for your "cemetery walks" and the inclusion of so many memorials that would not be added were it not for your caring. Best Regards, Bonnie

Thank you very much for my stepfather's memorial. I appreciate it.

I sent a correction for this memorial by mistake. It was meant for Alma's mother, Elizabeth Akeley. Please disregard!

Allan, I know you have helped my in the past, can someone remove names from listings, I know my grandmother Annie Thompson Hewins, now # 141428517 and her husband and all of her deceased children were listed on this Find A Grave, but in looking lately, she is the only one listed and some one in 2015 has entered her, confusing???? Thanks for any help, Kathleen
