Robert W. Holmes
Thank you for posting the news article about the death of Robert W. Holmes. Are you a relative? Do you have other information about him? There's information in the story that is different from other information I have about him. I didn't know he was an orphan. I thought he traveled to Missouri with his mother Catherine Wadsworth. It's an exciting find and I'm trying to piece things together. Again, thanks for posting this, and please let me know if you have other info.

Hamm Children of Weston, Platte, MO
THANK YOU for your kind transfer of the 4 memorials for the small children of Jacob Hamm & Lydia Ann Wallace, who are all intrred at Laurel Hill Cemetery. I especially appreciate your wonderful photographs of their headstones that detail their names with birth & death dates going back as far as 1843.

With my sincere appreciation,

Wilfred Laverne Rardin, Was the son of Gaugh Raymon Rardin and Flora A. Tawney. They both passed away in Oregon.

He has 2 other brothers for which one is also buried in Weston, Louis R. Rardin, Graceland Cemetery Find A Grave# 64679083.

Jack L. Rardin also died in Douglas, Oregon.

Until I find my grandfather's parents burial in Oregon this is the best there is. So could you please post that above information with his post?

Thank you for adding the obituary. I don't think I had a copy of it and it was nice to see some dates that I didn't know (date of mom's marriage to my dad). Funny that they listed two grandchildren as I have no children and I'm an only child. But knowing mom it may have been someone she was close to that had kids.
Again thank you for contributing.

Hi Mr. Foster.
I saw that you had posted a picture of my mothers marker in 2010. I have not been back since she passed in 1999 as I live out of state. It was really nice to see the picture.
I miss her so much. She was a wonderful mother and took such great care in raising me on her own.
Thanks again for posting the picture,

Levi Cline
I found my ancestor Levi Cline, Washington, Kitsap County. You have added a picture to the entry. It is not clear who the picture is. Can you help me figure it out? I have a picture of Levi and Ruth Cline. It is hard to tell if your picture and mine are of the same person. Thank you for your good work.

RE: John Green, Dearborn Community Cemetery
Dear Mr. Bill Foster,
According to the letters of John Green, he had (at least) 4 children with Mary: Maria (d)(born 15/6/1893), Albert (s) (born 23/2/1895), Josia (d) (born ??/9/1896), name unknown (s) (born 1/6/1901). As you may appreciate , I can email scans of the original letters to you. In order to find out if this John Green is the brother of mine great grandfather. Yours sincerely.

RE: John Green, Dearborn Community Cemetery
Dear Mr. John Green,
Nice to hear of you. I know from the census of 1910. However, according to the census of 1895 John Green was born in Holland. He has lived in several places in Iowa (1890-1892). These addresses are known to us through his letters. We also know that he married Maria Vogl, there parents were from Germany.

I hope to hear soon of you.
Yours sincerely.
